Mass transportation

Mass transportation (sometimes shortened to mass transit) is any form of transportation which can move large numbers of people at once. Subways, buses, trains and monorails are all examples of mass transportation components. Mass transit systems are usually government-subsidized (in which case they are called public transportation) but not always.
