Michael Devin Griffin is a National Football League safety for the Tennessee Titans. He was born on January 4, 1985 in Austin, Texas. Griffin is 6 foot tall and weighs 195 pounds. His twin brother Marcus Griffin played beside him at the safety position at the University of Texas.

College Football

From 2003 through 2006, Griffin attended the University of Texas and played football for the Texas Longhorns; mostly playing and starting at safety. In his career at Texas he played in 50 games (28 starts), made 368 tackles, 4 sacks, recovered 7 fumbles, forced 9 fumbles, amazingly blocked 8 kicks, knocked down 23 passes and had 8 interceptions.

NFL career

On April 28, 2007, Griffin was drafted by the Tennessee Titians in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
