Middlesbrough F.C. ('Boro') is a British soccer team based in Middlesbrough, in north-east England. They currently play in the English Premier League. The team is managed by Gareth Southgate and is sponsored by Garmin.

History

The side was founded in 1876 by members of Middlesbrough Cricket Club[2]. Between 1903 and 1995 its home ground was Ayresome Park but in 1995 it moved to the Riverside Stadium. Middlesbrough were winners of the League Cup in 2004.
