Migration 2022 is a summary of the migration into and out of each of the 50 states of the United States during 2022.[1]

Texas has been one of the top 3 destinations for people who moved out of most of the other states. For example, in 2019 people left California for Texas in these record numbers:[1]

- Moved from California to Texas in 2019: 82,235
- Moved from Texas to California in 2019: 37,063

Some surprises: people aren't moving from Illinois to Missouri, but to Indiana (and also even to California). Also, more people moved from New York to New Jersey more than to other states.

Minnesota slightly gained in population (due to births that exceed a net loss due to migration).
