The Minnesota Vikings are a National Football League (NFL) team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are members of the National Football Conference (NFC) North Division.

History and League Success

The Vikings entered the NFL in 1961 as an expansion franchise.

They achieved national infamy in 2005, when players on the team took part in the now infamous "love boat scandal".[1] This led to criminal charges and the adoptation of a Code of Conduct by Zygi Wilf, the teams owner.

They have appeared in the Super Bowl four times (non-consecutively) and have lost all four times, tying them with the Buffalo Bills as the team with the most Super Bowl losses without winning a game.
