NARAL (National Abortion Rights Action League) and its affiliates promote taxpayer-funded abortion.[1] NARAL rates politicians based on how much they vote in favor of abortion. The group was founded in 1969 by Betty Friedan, Lawrence Lader and Bernard Nathanson. Nathanson has entirely renounced the group. NARAL is a coalition partner of the liberal coalition America Votes.[2]
