Nadine Strossen (born 1950) became president of the ACLU (The American Civil Liberties Union) in 1991. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School. Strossen supports legal abortion in America. She has criticized the partial birth abortion Ban Act, which was enacted in 2003. She announced that she would step down as president of the ACLU in 2008.
