'''New Scientist''' is a weekly [[British]] [[science]] [[magazine]] that reports on a wide range of news and developments in science and technology. It was first published in 1956 and in September 2006 reported having a circulation of about 170,000 worldwide. 

It does not publish anything critical of the [[theory of evolution]] nor does it publish anything regarding [[intelligent design]] in a positive light. It also supports the theory of anthropogenic [[climate change]], and in a piece in its 18 October issue, it contained an article criticising [[supply-side economics]].
