A number is an abstract concept used for counting or measuring. There are many kinds of numbers: prime numbers, composite numbers, real numbers, complex numbers. Some people believe certain numbers are lucky, or unlucky, such as 13. These beliefs and belief in numerology is generally not considered compatible with Christian beliefs.

Yet, Numbers is also a book of the Bible. It is the fourth book.
