The Open source movement is a set of phylosophies concerning the distribution of intelectual property. The open source movement beleives that IP, due to it's tendency to be easily modified and redistributed, ought to be modified and distributed freely. Members of the open source movement feal that the confinement of intelectual property in the patent/copyright system that binds it to an owner and ristricts derived and inspired works is unnatural, and ought not be. The open source movement sets out to share its knowledge freely as it is natural for knowledge to be shared.

There is a powerfull spiritual energy that takes hold of the members of the open source movement. Surly the great wealth we can create through sharing is a wonderfull thing.
