Patricia "Pat" Wiggins is a California State Senator (2007–Present) representing the 2nd Senatorial District. She was elected to replace the term limited Wesley Chesbro. A liberal from Santa Rosa, California, she sits on or chairs several committees.

She became embroiled in scandal after belittling an African American pastor's opinion with an obscenity while he was testifying at a Senate committee.[1] Although she apologized for the incident, opponents believe that this is part of a larger pattern including the beginning of senility.
