Patriot Bible University is an educational institution located in Colorado under the direction of the Hilltop Baptist Church. Its is an unaccredited correspondence school which departs from the "Ivory Tower" philosophy in usual academics, and will reward students with credits for life experience. They also have a student body of about 400 students. [[Kent Hovind]] is one of their graduates.  Kent Hovind is best known for his involvement with the [[creation science]] movement and also his anti-tax activism which recently lead to him being convicted of tax evasion.

Patriot Bible University, formerly known as Patriot University,[1] is an educational institution located in Colorado under the direction of the Hilltop Baptist Church since 1985. It was originally founded in 1979 in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Lonnie Skinner, one of the original founders, now directs all External Studies programs from offices in Del Norte, Colorado.[2]

Patriot Bible University is a Christian Bible university offering religious degrees at the undergraduate, graduate, and non-degree levels with Biblically conservative self-directed study courses.

The University is not certified by any nationally recognized accrediting agency. In the words of the University, "Success comes from how you apply your education and not what accrediting agency has certified your education."[3]

Notable alumni include Dr. Kent Hovind.
