Literal meaning Beijing roast duck

Peking duck is a Chinese dish.

It is sliced roasted duck, served with a plum sauce and thin pancakes. When it is eaten, the sauce is spread in the pancake, and some duck is put in. It is then eaten like a burrito.

Aside from it being a staple of Beijing cuisine, this dish can be found in overseas Chinese restaurants around the world.
