Prince Charles Philip Arthur George,(14 November 1948 at Buckingham Palace in London) is the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, and is heir apparent to the British throne (and to the thrones of the 15 other Commonwealth realms). He holds the titles Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall, Duke of Rothesay, Earl of Chester, Earl of Carrick, and Baron of Renfrew.
Prince Charles married Lady Diana Spencer in 1981, and the couple had two children, Prince William, now Duke of Cambridge), in 1982, and Prince Henry (called Harry), now Duke of Sussex, in 1984. Charles and Diana were divorced in 1996, and the Prince was married to Camilla Parker Bowles in 2005. He has three grandchildren, Prince George of Cambridge (born 2013), Princess Charlotte of Cambridge (born 2015), and Prince Louis of Cambridge (born 2018).
