Radosław Sikorski, or Radek Sikorski, is a member of the EU Parliament and former Foreign and Defense Minister of Poland. Sikorski is married to former Washington Post editorial board member Anne Applebaum.

In 2014 Sikorski commented, "The Polish-American alliance is worthless. It is even harmful because it creates a false sense of security for Poland."[1]

In September 2022 Sikorski thanked the United States on social media for its act of environmental terrorism when the US destroyed the Nordstream pipeline, severing Germany's dependence on Russian natural gas.[2]

In an interview with the Polish magazine Krytyka Polityczna in January 2023 Sikorski observed, "Ukrainian elites are simply wasting their time...They are hiding their corruption and delusions of grandeur behind a story that they are playing some big game with the United States, Russia, Europe, and China...After all, Ukraine emerged from the Soviet economic world in better shape than us, with built nuclear power plants, an aviation industry, no debts and the most fertile lands in the world, yet before last year's invasion it had a GDP four times smaller than Poland. The Ukrainians are now paying dearly for this maneuvering."[3]
