Sir Ranulph Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes (born 1944), known usually as Ranulph, or Ran, Fiennes (pronounced Fines), is a British explorer and adventurer. He was the first person to reach both the North Pole and the South Pole on foot, and the first person to cross Antarctica on foot.
