The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is a Christian denomination based in Lagos, Nigeria. The denomination was started in 1952.
RCCG's facility in Lagos, an open-air campground, purportedly holds multiple millions of members and followers.
RCCG denomination is Pentecostal in its beliefs.
Outside of Nigeria RCCG is active in many African nations, along with the European nations of France, Germany and England, the Caribbean nations of Haiti and Jamaica, and several large cities in the United States. The North American branch of RCCG is headquartered outside of the small community of Floyd, Texas, roughly 1.5 hours northeast of Dallas; the headquarters includes a 10,000 seat auditorium.
