Robert Walpole

Sir Robert Walpole 1st Earl of Orford, KG, KB, PC (August 26, 1676 - March 18, 1745) was the first Prime Minister of Great Britain, although the term title was not officially used at this time. He took office in 1721 and held it until he resigned in 1742, making his administration the longest in British history, he was a member of the British Whig Party.
