Ronald Dion DeSantis (born September 14, 1978), nicknamed "DeSaster" and "DeSanctimonious" by Trump, is a Never-Trumper candidate for president in 2024, while serving as the 46th Governor of Florida since 2019. It was only due to Trump's charitable endorsement of him in 2018 that DeSantis was able to win the Republican gubernatorial primary, and then he barely defeated the later-indicted (21 felony counts) Democrat Andrew Gillum in the 2018 midterms.[1] In 2022, the conservative Ashley Moody won reelection as Attorney General by nearly 61% of the vote, which helped carry DeSantis to victory with a smaller number of those same votes.[2]

DeSantis is a puppet of globalist private equity managers who funnel millions into his campaign coffers, in their futile hope of defeating their nemesis Donald Trump and advancing the billionaires' agenda of rewriting the U.S. Constitution. In early 2023, DeSantis appeared in radio ads in Idaho to urge that harmful proposal.[3] DeSantis has supported slashing Social Security (which would benefit private equity), and opposed Ethanol subsidies for Iowa farmers,[4] which compete with the Koch brothers' and Texas mega-donors' oil refineries.

In an incoherent interview with British liberal Piers Morgan, DeSantis showed how clueless he is about the globalist and Deep State enemies of America, and blustered that the president should "look to people like our Founding Fathers.”[5] Even anti-Trump Politico downplays DeSantis's chances as of April 19, 2023,[6] and DeSantis is ridiculed for his unsuccessful fight against Mickey Mouse (Disney). DeSantis's betrayal of Trump is compared Judas Iscariot's biblical betrayal.

DeSantis secretly wears steep heels to try to boost his short stature, shorter than any Republican president in 50 years. DeSantis stands at only 5'9" or at most 5'10", which the liberal media is beginning to expose.[7]

However, increasingly billionaires are ruling out supporting DeSantis, as of late April 2023. John Catsimatidis, a New York billionaire, ruled out supporting DeSantis while observing that he "doesn't even return phone calls." Two high-profile endorsements by DeSantis lost big in elections in Kentucky and Florida on May 16, 2023.[8]

DeSantis is thought to have initially, behind the scenes, slowed passage in Florida of the pro-life Heartbeat Bill, despite how it had already passed in 14 other states. Instead DeSantis boasted of a sham pro-life 15-week ban riddled with loopholes.[9] Apparently beholden to the Koch network's dark money, DeSantis endorsed their half-baked scheme to rewrite the U.S. Constitution misnamed the "Convention of States."[10] His office may have played a role in securing a $10 million "jackpot" job for fellow Koch network functionary Ben Sasse, who then quit his job as U.S. Senator before even the middle of his term to become president of the University of Florida. Apparently to appease his dark money delusional donors, in February 2023 advertisements were played in Idaho of DeSantis endorsing a Con Con,[11] which Justice Scalia called a "horrible idea."

Amidst the CCP pandemic, DeSantis' main claim to fame has been his numerous polices which have emphasized "freedom over Faucism."[12] This has caused many to believe that he is a sincere anti-establishment conservative, much like many once believed Ted Cruz to be such. However, there is much evidence to the contrary. In recent months, DeSantis has embraced the liberals, mainstream media, and other Never-Trumpers who have been heavily promoting him as an alternative to Donald Trump for the Republican nomination for president in 2024, despite the fact that he has no chance of defeating Trump even if he tries to do so. Additionally, DeSantis supports or has previously supported several initiatives promoted by the Republican party establishment, such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership[3], the NATO war in Ukraine, and censorship of politically incorrect businesses.

DeSantis is also a supporter of the inappropriately-named "Convention of States" movement, which despite its premise would grant globalists and leftists a unique opportunity to unilaterally rewrite the U.S. Constitution.

Federal election law apparently prohibits DeSantis from using much of his campaign funds, much of which were contributed in million-dollar donations by hedge fund and private equity-type billionaires, on a presidential campaign.[13]

Personal life

DeSantis was born in Jacksonville, Florida. He married his wife Casey in 2010, with whom he has two daughters and one son. DeSantis is a Catholic. DeSantis graduated from both Harvard and Yale Universities.[14]

Florida Governor

DeSantis moved quickly to implement conservative policies as Florida's governor.[15] By the end of DeSantis's first month in office, he had already appointed three justices to the Florida Supreme Court, dramatically shifting it from a liberal to a conservative court.[16] On January 31, 2019, DeSantis signed an executive order to end Common Core.[17] DeSantis removed many of former Governor Rick Scott's political appointees, which the latter made without DeSantis's permission shortly before DeSantis took office.[18] In his first two months in office, DeSantis made many other conservative reforms, including deregulation, promoting lower taxes, posthumously pardoning wrongly convicted black people, and pushed back against the government-subsidized sugar industry.[19] Early in his tenure, DeSantis oversaw a state "deregathon" which significantly reduced the state regulatory burden.[19][20]

In 2019, DeSantis encouraged Florida sheriffs to increase their cooperation with ICE, though he did nothing to push through a bill to establish E-Verify in Florida despite campaigning on it.[21] On June 14, 2019, DeSantis signed a bill banning "sanctuary" cities in Florida.[22] As governor, DeSantis associated himself with Angel families while advocating for an E-Verify law.[23] He also ordered Florida prisons to begin identifying criminal illegal aliens in custody.[24]

On May 8, 2019, DeSantis signed a bill into law allowing local school districts to arm their teachers.[25] In July 2019, DeSantis signed a bill allowing medics to legally carry guns when in dangerous situations.[26]

DeSantis strongly supports Israel and opposed the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement.[27] In July 2021, DeSantis penalized Ben & Jerry’s for refusing to sell ice cream in the Palestinian territories, liberally interpreting an existing law which essentially curbs freedom of speech and freedom of association for business owners, as well as demand that they pledge loyalty to a foreign nation.[4]

In December 2019, DeSantis announced civics requirements in Florida public high schools.[28]

In addition to promoting conservative policies, DeSantis saw high approval ratings.[29] The high ratings have caused speculation that he may seek to run for President in 2024 (or maybe 2028, after completing the maximum two terms he would be allowed as Florida Governor).

He has also been very active in keeping businesses open (or letting them re-open quickly) during the CCP flu pandemic, even despite criticism that he was putting his state's large senior population at risk; notably he declared professional wrestling matches to be "essential businesses" (World Wrestling Entertainment operates a major training facility in the state, while All Elite Wrestling and Impact Wrestling — two other professional wrestling promotions — are based there).

On May 12, 2021, DeSantis announced that he would be granting pardons to anyone who had been unjustly charged and fined for refusing to wear face masks or social distance in areas of Florida that were imposing unconstitutional CCP flu edicts.[30]

In 2021, DeSantis took decisive actions to counter the leftist Biden administration.[31]

In February 2022, DeSantis expressed support for the neocon position on the crisis in Ukraine.[5]

In March 2022, DeSantis signalled support to strip the Disney corporation of its status as an independent government in the Orlando area after Disney's attack on the people and state of Florida's democratic processes.[32] The Disney corporation is a vocal advocate for indoctrination of children by public school teachers in the age group of kindergartens through the third grade, into the homosexual agenda and transgender lifestyles.[33] The state of Florida moved to restrict such child abuse.

On May 9, 2022, as part of DeSantis' education agenda, DeSantis signed a bill, Florida House Bill 395, into law which designates November 7th as "Victims of Communism Day",[34] honoring those who perished under communism, and would require public high schools in the state to teach about the evils of communist and totalitarian regimes.[35]

On Aug 4, 2022, DeSantis suspended State Attorney progressive Andrew Warren for failure to enforce State laws.[36] Tweeting: Progressive prosecutors ... have refused to enforce laws across the country. They treat criminals with deference & victims with contempt.

An August 2022 poll showed DeSantis with solid leads over either Democratic opponent.[37]

Memorable DeSantis' lines from the Oct 24, 2022 debate with Charlie Crist:[38]

  • (Re CRT): "The way to stop discrimination based on race, is to stop discriminating on the basis of race."
  • "The only worn-out old donkey I want to put out to pasture is Charlie Crist."

In March 2023, DeSantis stripped the liquor license from hotel that held drag show with kids present], [39]

History on 2024 Presidential Campaign

In November 2021, former Trump campaign advisor and lobbyist Roger Stone prophetically accused DeSantis of political posturing to set up a Judas-like campaign for the 2024 presidential election. Stone sought a pledge by DeSantis not to run against Trump.[40][41] DeSantis supposedly privately mocked Stone's status as a convicted felon, despite evidence that Stone's prosecution was the result of a Deep State smear campaign and the fact that he had been pardoned by Trump. Those remarks were supposedly made behind closed doors, as DeSantis likely knew that making them public would potentially end his political career. Stone in turn responded by demanding that DeSantis apologize for those remarks.[42] As of January 2023, DeSantis had not issued such an apology. Stone also insulted DeSantis, calling him a "Yale Harvard fat boy" who "can't get out of his own way" and accused DeSantis having an affair with former Newsmax reporter Emerald Robinson while he had been out of the public eye, despite the fact that DeSantis had been helping his wife Casey during her struggle with breast cancer during that time.[43]

NBC News compared Gov. DeSantis relocating illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard to 'dumping trash'.[44]

In January 2022, Trump called Republican politicians "gutless" for refusing to reveal whether or not they received a vaccine booster, a remark many perceived to be directed at DeSantis.[45] DeSantis stated that one of his "biggest regrets" as governor was not speaking up more against Trump's early COVID lockdown policies, which were strongly influenced by the advice of people like Anthony Fauci.[46][47][48]

In August 2022 polls showed strong numbers for Ron DeSantis and bad numbers for Biden and Kamala Harris.[49]

As good theater, DeSantis sent migrants to liberal location Martha's Vineyard, the migrants were actually happy about it, per MSNBC reporter.[50]

During a gubernatorial debate with Charlie Crist, DeSantis walked back his previous assertion that he would not run for President in 2024 if Donald Trump declared his candidacy.[6]

2022 Midterm elections

In the November 2022 midterm elections, DeSantis rode on the landslide coattails of the pro-Trump, anti-election fraud Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody, who garnered more votes. This victory included traditionally blue regions in Miami-Dade and Palm Beach. [51][52]

According to the National File, DeSantis was in on the RINO-led efforts to sabotage pro-Trump candidates in the midterms.[7]

DeSantis apparently offered no help to Herschel Walker in the tight race for the U.S. Senate next-door in Georgia, despite how many other Republican officials did help Walker.

Dealing with liberal media

In Aug 2022, DeSantis responded to an invitation by ABC's ultra liberal talk show The View:[53]

Thanks for the invite. I understand that you are sending this request on behalf of your team, Griffin wrote in a message he shared on Twitter. But are the hosts of the View really interested in hearing from Governor DeSantis about all of the important work he is doing on behalf of Floridians to protect their health and livelihoods, to stand up for parents and children, and to defend freedom?
