Ronald "Ron" Klein (born July 10, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio) formerly served as the Democratic U.S. Representative from Florida's 22nd congressional district, covering the barrier islands of Florida's Gold Coast. Previously, he was Minority Leader of the Florida State Senate.
He served on the Financial Services Committee and Foreign Affairs Committee. Klein was reelected in 2008 by a 55%-45% margin against former Army Lieutenant Colonel Allen West, but lost a 2010 rematch by a 54% to 46% margin.
