The Lowering Prescription Drug Prices for America's Seniors and Families Act of 2020, also known as S.3384, is a bill sponsored by Sen. Martha McSally (R-AZ) that would aim at lowering prescription drug prices by allowing for the importation of cheaper drugs from Canada.
Background
Sen. McSally promised at a Trump rally in Arizona on February 19, 2020, that she would introduce a bill "next week" to lower prescription drug prices.[1] The senator unveiled an outline of her proposal less than three days later.[2] However, the full text for the bill was publicly released later in March 2020.
