Saddleback Church is a megachurch founded by pastor Rick Warren that is based in California.[1] It is the sixth largest church in the United States[2] and was the first in the country to baptize 50,000 people.[1]

Gay Marriage Protest

About one thousand people protested outside Saddleback after California decided to ban gay marriage.[3]

Celebrate Recovery

The church's Celebrate Recovery program began in 1991. The amount of people who have participated in Celebrate Recovery exceeds 700,000.[4]
