Sean Bielat (born May 14, 1975) was the Republican candidate for Massachusetts's 4th congressional district formerly held by liberal Barney Frank. Bielat lost the his 2010 Midterm race but was surprisingly competitive. If he decides to run for 2012, he will have an increased voter pool due to redistricting that Barney Frank used as an excuse for retiring.

Bielat holds the rank of Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is a business consultant, former Program Manager of the $100 million iRobot Corporation and Chairman of NATO Industrial Armaments Group. Bielat holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University, and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, the International Institute for Security Studies, and the Council on Emerging National Security Affairs. He believes in a return to Constitutional Values and citizen-legislators. Sean is married and has one child.

Too often our elected officials put representation of an ideology ahead of representation of the people.
