Secular Christianity refers to the practice in which self-professing Christians are influenced in some way by Christian culture without practicing the religion of Christianity actively. At least three quarters of United States citizens claim to be Christian, but church attendance has been steadily declining in most Christian denominations.
Closely related to this is the commercialization and secularization of the Christian holiday of Christmas, where the birth of Christian Messiah Jesus Christ is observed. (See: War on Christmas)
