Shane Keith Warne (born 13 September 1969 in Ferntree Gully, Victoria) is an Australian cricketer considered by many to be the greatest exponent of right-arm leg-break bowling. In 2000 he was selected as one of five Wisden cricketers of the century. He retired from international cricket in January 2007 with 708 Test wickets at an average of 25.41. He is still active in Twenty20 playing in the Big Bash League.
