The Sinquefield Cup is annual invitation-only classical chess tournament typically held in August at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis, which is located in the so-called "Central West End" area.^[1]

This tournament has been held annually since 2013, and attracts the top players in the world. It is scheduled to be held next on August 15-30, 2019. Prize money has increased to $325,000, including $90,000 for 1st place and $60,000 for 2nd place.
