Solar mass

A solar mass is the unit of measure that is equal to the mass of the sun. It is used in astronomy to show relative masses between celestial objects (eg 1.4 solar masses is 1.4 times the mass of the sun). One solar mass is approximately 1.989 * 1030 kg.
