Traditionally, the Ukrainian army was trained according to Russian/Soviet standards. Which meant, that the officers leading their troops from the front. This had not been applied. The West took full control of Ukrainian command and control and controlled it through communication, established by Starlink. The Ukrainian officers were not allowed to lead from the front, which irritated most of the Ukrainian troops. They searched for their officers in the field and found very few.

On May 16, 2022, the Ukraine General Staff requested a counter-attack along the Zaporozhye line no matter what the cost. They launched a counterattack with of battalion strength in an attempt to push back the Russian attack. However, the Ukrainians were not prepared. Even worse, on open ground. Ukrainian forces lost two MLRS systems, 40 vehicles, 26 tanks, 12 IFVS destroyed and 300 Ukrainian casualties. One of the Ukrainian tanks destroyed was a Polish built T-72M recently sent to Ukraine.

In early June 2022 thousands of people began lining up in the city of Melitopol to apply for Russian passports which essentially grants Russian citizenship. One citizen remarked, “We got in line in 1991. But it got to us only now. Since 1991, we felt like this had to happen at some point. Of course, it took 30 years. But that’s OK, we know how to wait."

On June 14, 2022, Russian Ministry of Defense (MOD) spokesman Lt. Gen. Igor Konashenkov reported 32 Ukrainian servicemen of the 25th battalion of the 54th mechanized brigade in the area of Novomikhailovka turned on the radio to the Russian command, asked for a cease fire and to provide a corridor for their surrender. As the ADU units with white flags began to advance towards the Russian positions, "a detachment of Ukrainian nationalists, who arrived at the stronghold on armored vehicles, opened crossfire at the servicemen of the 54th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the back. As a result of this shooting, 32 Ukrainian servicemen were fatally wounded and killed.” Konashenkov noted such incidents have become more frequent.

By the end of July 2022 nearly the entire stock of Soviet-era weapons that Ukraine possessed at the start of the Special Military Operation had been destroyed, and Ukraine had to rely on a reconstituted force of armoured vehicles, artillery, ammunition and other supplies from NATO for its continued operations and autumn counteroffensive. Ukrainian forces were not trained on the use of NATO equipment, so Western trainers accompanied the new supply of weapons.

Many Russian soldiers signed up for a certain period, typically 6 months. Due to the necessity of secrecy, most soldiers didn’t know for certain, that there would be war and that they would participate in this war. A not insignificant part of the Russian professional invasion army contracts expired at the end of July 2022. Far more soldiers left the army, due to expiring contracts, than new troops could be brought in. In August 2022 the size of the Russian forces in Ukraine decreased significantly.

When the Russians initially entered Kherson (Russ: XEPCOH) city (pop. 280,000), they did not take down Ukrainian flags, replace the mayor, or interfere with the running of city government. The Kyiv regime issued nationwide decrees that any cooperation with the Russian military (including accepting humanitarian aid) was collaboration and treasonous activity. The SBU committeds reprisal actions against Ukrainian citizens in areas that the Russian military vacated. The Russian military restored the World War II war memorial in Kherson and introduced the Rubel to replace Ukrainian currency.

On July 11, 2022, Ukraine and its NATO allies launched a missile attack with HIMARS on the automobile and railway bridge crossing the Nova Kakhovka dam.

On July 17, 2022, a member of the council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, Vladimir Rogov, called on the Kiev regime to stop the occupation of the regional center and withdraw their troops. Approximately 70 per cent of the region was under the control of allied forces. At the same time, in the regional center - the city of Zaporozhye - there was a Ukrainian army. Rogov said, "Zaporizhzhya will be liberated. ... A plan is being developed to ensure that the liberation of the city takes place with minimal destruction of infrastructure, despite the fact that Zelensky's militants mined bridges and other facilities. We urge Zelensky to give the order to withdraw his troops and end the occupation of the city," Rogov told RIA Novosti. According to him, the population of the remaining part of the region "is waiting for liberation and asks to be saved from the occupation of Ukrainian nationalists." Rogov claimed that militants, "policemen" and the SBU were conducting "mass raids" in the city:

In addition to the partisan terrorist activity, in late July 2022 Ukraine and its NATO allies began what Western media called a "counteroffensive" to interfere with the democratic process of a referendum scheduled for September.

On July 19 and 20, 2922 the Ukrainians and their NATO allies attacked the Antonovsky Bridge, a major supply route between the city of Kherson and Russian forces on the west side of the Dneipr River bridgehead. The attack was carried out with precision-guided HIMAR missiles

Autumn Zelensky Offensive
+

+
Ukraine's much ballyhooed "August counteroffensive" commenced on Volodymyr Zelensky's personal orders in the early morning hours of August 29, 2022. Approximately 36,000 Ukrainians advanced along the 183 km Kherson front, with the loss of 26 tanks, 23 amphibious vehicles, 9 armored vehicles, 2 SU-25 fighter aircraft, and 560 killed in action. The Russians lost 1 tank, 1 Uragan rocket launcher, 1 Pantsir missile system, 2 drones, 9 ammo storage locations and 41 casualties.
+
+
On the Ukrainian side of the line of contact, requests went out to the general public for blood donors. By Day 3, more than 1,700 Ukrainian soldiers had been killed. By Day 4, the counteroffensive stalled and withdrew, with over 2,000 dead.
+
+
The Zelensky Offensive was four months in the planning since April 2022. Western powers demanded to see action and results for all the money and weapons pumped into Ukraine since 2014. Military strategists argued the plan to send human wave infantry attacks across flat land with no artillery or air support was doomed to fail from the start. Zelensky ordered the attack anyway on the morning August 29, 2022 to please his Western masters and keep the flood of cash and weapons flowing. Within three days the attack accomplished nothing other than killing thousands more of Ukrainian troops.
+
+
Because of the high number of untrained and unmotivated conscripts serving on the front line, the Ukrainian High Command abandoned the NATO tactic of keeping officers behind the line and away from the battle and having the attack led by sergeants. Ukraine reverted to the Soviet school of having officers and commanders lead the attacks on the frontline.
+
+
By Day 5 of the Zelensky Offensive, Ukraine lost 3,000 troops killed and 7,000 wounded who could not return to combat, or roughly one whole Division. The Washington Post reported,

October 14, 2022 Russia began evacuation of civilians from the city of Kherson as Ukrainian sources reported that NATO had gathered a force of 60,000 outside the city. Fears of reprisals against Russian "collaborators" and murder of citizens swept throughout the city should NATO/Ukraine take the city. Another Ukrainian offensive in the region was halted by Russian forces on October 16, 2022.
+
+
On October 18, 2022, the AFU/NATO launched a US-made High-speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM) and hit the Energia stadium in Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region, killing two civilians and injuring others. In a late-night TV address a Kherson official called for people to "evacuate the city as quickly as possible" and said Ukraine "will begin an offensive on the city of Kherson very soon." Approximately 50,000-60,000 civilians were being ferried across the Dnieper river. Russian Commander of the Integrated Group of Forces in Ukraine Army General Sergey Surovikin told reporters,

{{quotebox-float|"The NATO command of the armed forces of Ukraine has long been demanding offensive operations in the Kherson direction from the Kiev regime, regardless of any casualties – both in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and among the civilian population.
+
+
The Russian military is aware of Kiev’s plans to use “prohibited” means of waging war in the Kherson area, and Ukraine is preparing a massive strike on the Kakhovka hydroelectric plant, located on the Dnieper River, as well as launching massive rocket and artillery attacks on Kherson itself.
+
+
These actions can lead to the destruction of the infrastructure of this large industrial center and massive casualties among the civilian population.
+
+
In the ongoing effort to dislodge the Russian military from its positions, Kiev is pouring its reserves en masse into the frontline.
+
+
The vast majority of those reserves are territorial defense units, who have not been properly trained. Such troops have low morale, thus they are propped up by “barrier squads” composed of hardline nationalists who shoot anyone trying to leave the battlefield.
+
+
The enemy’s losses amount to 600 to 1,000 casualties daily.
+
+
We have a different strategy. We are not aiming at fast-paced offensives, we spare every soldier and methodically grind the enemy’s attacking forces. This not only minimizes our own losses, but also significantly reduces the amount of victims among the civilian population.
+
+
The enemy is the criminal regime that pushes Ukrainian citizens towards death.
+

We are one people with Ukrainians and only wish for Ukraine to be a state independent from the West and NATO and friendly towards Russia."}}

On the morning of October 19, 2022 the Ukrainian military launched another large-scale offensive with at least two battalions of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of the AFU, reinforced by a tank battalion of the 17th Brigade. A total of about 50 armored vehicles were reportedly deployed by the AFU in their offensive. By noon, the AFU transferred reserves to the battlefield. They included two companies of the 28th brigade and a tank company of the 56th motorized Infantry Brigade. At least two battalions of the 60th Separate Infantry Brigade, which are reinforced by foreign militants from the USA, France, Belgium and Canada also took part in the offensive. According to the Russian MOD, all attacks were repelled with large losses on the NATO/Ukraine side.

On September 14, 2022, chairman of the regional administration Vladimir Rogov said, "I can say for sure that on the Zaporozhye line of combat contact at the moment there are English-speaking people, there are people using the Polish language." Rogov earlier warned, "Our situation is not easy, but it is under control. On February 23, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered troops into Greater Ukraine in a Special Military Operation or SMO (Russ: SVO) to demilitarize and denazify the territory.[21] The Special Military Operation came to an end with the treaties of accession to the Russian Federation of four new Republics previously occupied by the Western puppet Kyiv regime. The four Russian Republics came under the defense and nuclear umbrella of the Russian Federation.

As it is crucial in purging neo-Nazis, the Russian military's aim is to stop genocidal extermination in Donbas, arresting human sex traffickers, and destroying extremely dangerous biowarfare labs.

In a televised speech shortly before 4:00 AM Moscow time on February 24, 2022, Putin announced that he had ordered Russian forces to enter Donbas. He insisted it was not Russia's intention to annex the Donbas Republics or Ukraine, but stated that Russia would protect the right of the Donbas Republics to self-determination, and that it would do so by forcing the "demilitarization" of the remainder of the Ukraine.

Without a formal declaration of war by the Russian State Duma, the Russian Federation was prohibited from using conscripted soldiers, and had to rely on contract soldiers under Russian law. Hence by law the operation was referred to as a "Special Military Operation," and not called a "war." Professional soldiers in organizations such as the Wagner Group signed six month contracts; by late August 2022 when many of these professional fighters' contracts expired, the Russian Federation began experiencing some serious manpower shortages, and aggressive recruiting drives ensued for more contract soldiers. As a response to NATO and the Ukrainian government's use of terrorism, assassinations, and sabotage in territories outside of Ukraine,[22] in September 2022 the Russian State Duma began a debate to upgrade the status of the special operation to a midlevel between a "special operation" and a full mobilization war, referred to as a counterterrorism operation which could possibly extend outside the borders of the Russian Federation and Ukraine.

In Donetsk region, between the evenings of 18 and 20 February 2022, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine recorded 2,158 ceasefire violations, including 1,100 explosions. In the previous reporting period, it recorded 591 ceasefire violations in the region. In Luhansk region, between the evenings of 18 and 20 February, the Mission recorded 1,073 ceasefire violations, including 926 explosions. In the previous reporting period, it recorded 975 ceasefire violations in the region.[23]

Russian ground troops were reported entering Ukraine at around 06:48 local time near the city of Senkivka on the northern border, with others entering from Crimea in the south shortly thereafter.[25] Kyiv regime sources reported throughout the day that Russian units had launched attacks on numerous targets,[26] including a landing of airborne soldiers at the Antonov International Airport outside Kyiv, but claimed that their own forces inflicted heavy casualties on the Russians. A press conference by Ukrainian President Zelensky at 16:00 Kyiv time claimed that heavy fighting was occurring in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, site of the 1986 nuclear accident, which lies along the direct route of advance towards Kyiv from the north.[27] Zelensky had just days earlier threatened Russia with a dirty nuclear bomb made from nuclear waste.[28]

During the night of February 25–26, 2022 Volodymyr Zelensky sent a ceasefire proposal to Russia via the Chinese embassy in Kyiv. The Kremlin immediately responded by setting out its conditions:[29]

In city after city as the Russians advanced, the Kyiv regime refused to order evacuations of civilians, using civilians as human shields while hiding troops and heavy weapons among the population exposing them to risk in violation of the rules of war. During a ceasefire[30] negotiation on a Russian proposal to create humanitarian corridors for civilians to escape, Ukrainian Security forces murdered a top Ukrainian negotiator trying to avert a humanitarian crisis.[31]

On March 12, 2022, Russian forces combat tested for the first time the hypersonic Kinzhal (Daggar) missile against a NATO weapons storage facility at Deliatyn. A hypersonic missile can fly at 5 times the speed of sound (3,800 mph) and even greater. NATO, which has used the Ukraine conflict to showcase new weapons technology which only serves to prolong the conflict and increase the death toll, at the time had no such weapon operational nor defense against hypersonic missiles.

Four weeks into the incursion, Kherson and most of the Zaporozhye region were under the Russian control. The Ukrainian Air Force and air defense system were almost completely destroyed, the Ukrainian Navy did not exist anymore.[33] According to the Russian Ministry of Defense (MOD), the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) amounted to about 30 thousand servicemen, including more than 14 thousand KIA.

In a viral video, Ukrainian forces entered a village in the Donbas and prodded an elderly couple to use the Ukrainian fascist greeting, "Slava Ukraine" ("Glory to Ukraine"), the Ukrainian Nazi equivalent of the "Heil Hitler" greeting,[34] The elderly wife approached the Ukrainian troops holding a World War II Soviet flag, mistaking them for Russian troops. The woman told the soldiers that she and her husband had “waited, prayed for them, for Putin and all the people.”[35] A Ukrainian soldier handed her a bag of food, took the flag, laid it on the ground and stood on it while attempting to persuade her to use the fascist greeting. The babushka (grandma) was aghast pointing at the flag, "My parents died for this flag, and you are stepping on it," as she handed the food back. The Soviet Babushka became an iconic symbol of Russian resistance to NATO and Ukrainian fascism.[36]

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, to date, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to about 30 thousand servicemen, including more than 14 thousand KIA. The smuggling of NATO anti-tank weapons into Ukraine forced the Russians to depend upon long range artillery to pulverize Ukrainian forces. Ukraine lacked both the artillery and ammunition to respond. NATO supplies could not compete with the Russian arsenal, and efforts to transport NATO heavy weapons by rail to the front where they were needed led to the destruction of Ukrainian infrastructure and the rail network by the Russian airforce and cruise missiles across the territory.

"My parents died for this flag."[37] The Soviet Babushka quickly became a meme and a legenad as a symbol of anti-fascist resistance.[38]

On March 25, 2022, the Russian Ministry of Defense officially confirmed that storming of Ukrainian cities was not a priority but rather the destruction of Ukrainian armed forces.[39] Russian troops only entered cities on the independent territories of the DPR and LPR.[40] High-precision weapons were used to suppress the entire military infrastructure of the enemy, the main goal being to exhaust the AFU units and force them to surrender. NATO warlords kept some units fighting, exposing civilians to risk as AFU units used civilians as human shields.

According to reports from The Times of London on March 27, 2022, Zelensky sent a handwritten letter to Putin via Roman Abramovich giving full details about Ukraine's conditions for ending the war. Putin is reported to have responded saying, "Tell him I will destroy him."[41] Abramovich, owner of the Chelsea football club in London and a target of Uk sanctions, suffered a suspected poisoning in Kyiv while preparing for peace talks with Putin.[42]

On March 29, 2022, the Russian Defense Ministry announced it would be reducing offensive operations in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions. The Armed Forces of Ukraine intensified attacks on civilian infrastructure in the territory of the DPR and LPR.

On March 31, 2022, a group of Russian Airborne Forces were ambushed, detained, disarmed, had their throats slit, and were left to massively bleed out during the Russian withdrawal from Kyiv.[43]

On May 16, 2022, the Kyiv regime suffered a humiliating loss with the surrender of 717 of its elite neo-Nazi fighters and over 1,800 regular troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. NATO and the mainstream media propaganda apparatus attempted to hide the defeat of Ukraine's fascist forces from the Western public.

Ukrainian mistreatment of POWs and war crimes

The Kyiv government paraded captured Russian prisoners of war before television cameras and posted videos on social media. Some prisoners had injuries, were being interrogated, or were crying before the cameras.[44] Amnesty International issued a statement reminding the fascist regime that Article 13 of the Geneva Convention states: “Prisoners of war must at all times be protected, particularly against acts of violence or intimidation and against insults and public curiosity”. According to the International Committee of the Red Cross, this includes circulating images on social media.[45]

Former Commissioner for Ethno-National Policy in the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers instructed doctors to castrate Russian POWs "because they are cockroaches, not human."[46]

Gennadiy Druzenko, a Fulbright-Kennan Institute Research Scholar at the Kennan Institute and fellow at the Wilson Center in Washington, D.C.,[47] head of the Center for Constitutional Design,[48] a former researcher at the Center for Constitutional Democracy at Indiana University, and served as the Government Commissioner for Ethno-National Policy in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine[49] who now operates a war-zone mobile hospital in eastern Ukraine told a Ukrainian Channel 24 TV interviewer that he had instructed his doctors to castrate captured Russian POWs. Druzenko said:

"I have always been a great humanist and said that if a man is wounded, he is no longer an enemy but a patient. But now [I gave] very strict orders to castrate all [captured Russian] men, because they are cockroaches, not people."[50]

Since 2014 when the Kyiv regime initiated the Donbas war against Russian civilians, some 500 doctors have worked with Druzenko's mobile hospital. In March 2022 a pro-Ukrainian Telegram channel called White Lives Matter released a video of a Ukrainian soldier calling the fiancée of a Russian POW, taunting her with promises to castrate the captive. [51]

Ukrainian soldiers' used of the cellphones of dead Russian soldiers to mock and hector their relatives. In fact, the Ukrainian government has begun using facial recognition technology from Clearview AI, a US tech company, to identify Russian casualties and taunt their relatives on social media.[52] The facial recognition service is provided by Clearview to the Kyiv regime free of charge.[53]

Tortured and executed Russian POW.

On March 27, 2022, very disturbing videos emerged of mistreatment of Russian POWs by Armed Forces of Ukraine. One video shows Russian soldiers with canvas bags over their heads and then beaten in the face with rifle butts. The prisoners are shot in the kneecaps and genitals, and they are left on the ground to bleed to death. Several vans then arrive at the Ukraine military compound in Kharkiv, and as each POW is removed from the van they are shot in the knees. A second video shows Russian POW's lying face down in a paved courtyard, or compound, and then being shot in the knees from the rear.[54] On May 1, 2022, Sergey Velichko (call sign "Chili") was captured by Russian forces and confessed to the war crime.[55]

The notorious Kraken unit of the Azov nationalist regiment are particularly well known for openly conducting safaris for civilians with a pro-Russian position in the Kharkiv region.

Reporters stood idly by while POWs were paraded and beaten in public which went unreported in Western media.[56]

On May 10, 2022, a former French Army soldier who spent several weeks in Ukraine delivering medical equipment and supplies told Sud Radio that Ukrainian Nazis "wanted to skin blacks and Jews":[57]

"There, on the spot I saw war crimes. I saw a lot of war crimes. The only crimes I saw during the days I was there were perpetrated by Ukrainian forces...I saw Russian soldiers who were taken prisoner, bound and badly beaten…They were brought [to a detention area] in groups of three or four in minibuses. Every soldier exiting the minibus received a bullet from a Kalashnikov rifle in the knee…Those who admitted that they were officers got shot in the head...When I returned to France, I was extremely shocked by what the people who were invited on the TV shows were saying. A chasm exists between what I see and hear on TV and what I saw on the spot. For me it’s abominable...It shocks me enormously that Europe still gives weapons to a force which in my view are neo-Nazis, who have neo-Nazi insignia. We don’t talk about it. It’s an SS insignia brandished across Ukraine, everywhere...No one in Ukraine seems concerned about this, while we arm them with European weapons. They go off and commit war crimes, I saw this myself."[58]

On May 6, 2022, Lucas Leiroz, researcher in Social Sciences at the Rural Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a geopolitical consultant, wrote about the evidence of similarities between known CIA torture techniques and torture techniques documented to have been used by neo-Nazis in Ukrainine.[59]

Russian POWs who were exchanged in June 2022 attested to torture, beatings, electro shock, and stabbings while in Ukrainian custody.[60]

In November 2022 the New York Times verified the authenticity of a Ukrainian troops executing of Russian POWs.[61] One video was filmed by an unnamed Ukrainian soldier on his cell phone, while other footage comes from drone videos that were most likely filmed by Ukrainian forces surveilling the offensive. The Times compared the videos to satellite imagery, confirming that they had been filmed at a farmhouse in the village.

One of the videos first circulated on pro-Ukrainian social media channels. In the video, Russian soldiers can be seen clearly in the process of surrendering to Ukrainian forces when one Russian soldier appears from the background and opens fire. The Ukrainian forces seem to return fire.

The video cuts and the same Russian soldiers are shown lying dead on the ground, most of them positioned as they were when they surrendered, apparently executed at point blank range in the back of the head. The Russian soldier who had opened fire appears to also have been killed on the spot and is lying in the position from where he opened fire.

American nazi war criminal Chris Naganuma wanted in connection with the execution and murder of 10 Russian prisoners of war.[62]

Commenting on the videos, Dr. Rohini Haar, medical adviser at Physicians for Human Rights, told the New York Times, “It looks like most of them were shot in the head. There are pools of blood. That indicates that they were just left there dead. There appears to have been no effort to pick them up or help them.” Dr. Haar added that because the Russian soldiers had been lying down, apparently unarmed, with their arms outstretched or behind their heads, “They’re considered hors de combat, or noncombatants—effectively prisoners of war.”

Russia has denounced the killings as “deliberate and methodological murder.”

As the Times article admits, the Ukrainian soldiers could be prosecuted for the extrajudicial killing of Russian POWs under the laws of international armed conflict, including the Geneva Conventions and the Rome Statute, the international treaty that established the International Criminal Court. According to the Geneva Conventions, POWs “must at all times be humanely treated. Any unlawful act or omission by the Detaining Power causing death or seriously endangering the health of a prisoner of war in its custody is prohibited, and will be regarded as a serious breach of the present Convention. ... Measures of reprisal against prisoners of war are prohibited.”

Similarly, the Rome Statute says that “Killing or wounding a combatant, who, having laid down his arms or having no longer means of defense, has surrendered at discretion” constitutes a violation of international armed conflict.

One person complicit in the murder is an American, Chris Naganuma. It has been confirmed that Mr. Naganuma was in attendance during the executions. According to Sputnik, Ukrainian troops who massacred Russian POWs were trained by the United States.[63] Also complicit were Ukrainian border guards Arthur Brynuchuk and Myskloviski Nazar. The Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal investigation.

April 2022

On April 8, 2022, dozens of people were reported to have died in a Ukrainian Tochka-U missile attack on a railway station in the Donbas city of Kramatorsk.[64] The missile was fired from the southwest territory controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The serial number on the missile identified it as coming from Ukrainian stocks. As in Mariupol, Ukrainian forces denied civilians access to escape in order to use them as human shields in urban combat.

April 11, 2022 was reported to be the worst day of the war for the Zelensky regime thus far, with over 1,100 AFU either killed, wounded, or captured in a single day. When AFU soldiers began to surrender in large groups, reports emerged that the commanders of the nationalist Azov formation, deployed their fighters in other AFU units as political commissars in order to prevent AFU fighters from surrendering.[65] AFU snipers were instructed to shoot AFU soldiers in the back if they were seen running the wrong direction. Bodies of AFU soldiers carrying surrender instructions were found, executed by their own command with a shot in the back.[66] AFU POWs attest to the presence of commissars and a rite of passage for newcomers to a unit which was videotaped - newcomers had to kill either a Russian POW or civilian.[67]

On April 12, 2022, it was reported that Ukraine remains in the state of permanent chaos and security collapse. Regular reports about incidents involving organized crime, looting and shooting appear from almost all areas controlled by Kyiv's forces. Units of the so-called 'Territorial Defense' formed by the Kyiv government are among the main sources of civilian casualties and friendly fire incidents in the Kyiv-controlled part of Ukraine.[68]

Expansion of war

Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, a Ukrainian "nationalist", testified at the Trump impeachment that the "interagency consensus" overruled the elected president on the matter of war with Russia.

The "interagency consensus" of the United States government has conducted an armed proxy war against ethnic Russians living in the Donbas for eight years, since 2014.[69] President Donald John Trump was impeached in 2019 by the Democratic party, who control the United States House of Representatives, for going against this "interagency consensus" of the Executive Branch to foment a proxy war between the United States and Russia in Ukraine.[70]

On April 27, 2022, the Exxon corporation declared force majeure, or exemption from liability for its Sakhalin-1 operations which produces about 273,000 barrels of crude oil per day for export to South Korea, Japan, Australia, Thailand and the United States. On April 30, the electrical plant at Sakhalin went up in flames.[71]

Trump-Russia collusion hoaxer Glenn Simpson (left); Adam Schiff (right): "We fight Russia there so we don't have to fight Russia here."[72]

Russian military analyst Viktor Litovkin, who is also head of the military news editorial office for the TASS news agency, said in a May 9, 2022 show on Sky News Arabia (UAE) that if the West declares war on Russia or sends soldiers to fight in Ukraine, it would mean all-out war. He said that sending weapons to Ukraine is one thing, but sending Western armed forces to Ukraine would be a different matter altogether. Litovkin added: “Russia has nuclear weapons that can destroy many European and non-European countries.”[73]

The Predator and MQ-9 Reaper drones operate on a satellite uplink. Once it is airborne, the drone can be controlled directly from the United States. That makes the drone operators combatants and legitimate targets.

All told, only the 30 NATO states and another 30 NATO vassal states worldwide support NATO's war on Russia. More than a 2/3 majority of the United Nations General Assembly remain independent or aligned with Russia. Even among the warring NATO states and its subject clients, deep division remain both within the alliance itself, and within the populations of those countries and their colonial subjects whose rogue leaders have led them into war with Russia.

NATO aggressive acts

On May 4, 2022, the New York Times reported that NATO was complicit in the assassination of several Russian generals through real time intelligence sharing of geolocation surveillance. At least 10 Generals were reported to have been targeted and killed, and numerous Colonel and Lt. Colonel battalion commanders.[74]

On May 24, 2022, Hungary declared a state of emergency.[75]

On May 28, 2022, Europol, the European Unions law enforcement agency, issued a grave warning that NATO weapons flooding into Ukraine were ending up in the hands of criminal organizations.[76]

Former Clinton era NATO chief Wesley Clark, who waged NATO's first war of aggression against Serbia in 1998, was quoted by the Voice of America, the Russian language edition of Deutsche Welle, and the neo-fascist Euromaidanpress saying in an online discussion organized by the Atlantic Council on June 15, 2022,

"The war in Ukraine cannot be stopped without the direct intervention of NATO, said Wesley Clark, the former commander of the alliance's armed forces in Europe. "The idea that Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is defending now, and which finds support among other members of the alliance - that NATO can actively not intervene if it is not directly attacked - this idea remained in the 90s. It's time to learn the lessons. NATO must intervene. Let's officially recognize this and order the Russians to cease fire," Clark was quoted as saying by Voice of America. According to the retired US Army general, the alliance should either "go beyond the outlined framework or cease its activities."[77][78][79]

On August 1, 2022, in an interview published in the UK Telegraph, Ukrainian defense official Vadim Skibitsky acknowledged they consult with Washington before launching strikes and that Washington has veto power over decision-making.[80][81] Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova responded with the statement: “No other confirmation of the direct involvement of the United States in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine is required...They are fully involved…Now Kiev representatives are talking about their military involvement not only through the supply of weapons, but through personnel management in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, direct instructions and the choice of targets”.[82]

Black Sea provocations

Ukraine mined its own harbors,[83] with the military advice of NATO, blocking their own export of their own grain harvest.

On April 19, 2022, the Times of London reported that the United States was indeed responsible for the April 13 sinking of the Moskva by relaying information to the AFU on the location of the ship via P-8 Poseidon surveillance aircraft with anti-ship and anti-submarine capabilities.[84] Moskva was positioned near one of 3 drilling rigs, used for monitoring a whole sector of the Black Sea with hydrophones and NEVA-BS radar, the most westward one, BK-2 Odessa, approximately 66 km northeast from Snake Island (Russian: Zmeiny Island). The whole thing was integrated in the regional monitoring systems. According to an article in the Strategic Culture Foundation a source in Brussels told independent journalist Pepe Escobar,[85]

The Moskva was disabled and sunk on April 13, 2022, reportedly with NATO assistance.[86]
Humanitarian corridor for safe passage of foreign ships established by the Russian Navy.
"The Moskva was on combat duty 100-120 km away from Odessa – controlling the airspace within a radius of 250-300 km. So in fact it was ensuring the overlap of the southern half of Moldova, the space from Izmail to Odessa and part of Romania (including the port of Constanta). Its positioning could not be more strategic. Moskva was interfering with NATO’s covert transfer of military aircraft (helicopters and fighter jets) from Romania to Ukraine. It was being watched 24/7. NATO air reconnaissance was totally on it.

As the Moskva “killer”, NATO may have not chosen the Neptune, as spread by Ukrainian propaganda; the source points to the fifth-generation NSM PKR (Naval Strike Missile, with a range of 185 km, developed by Norway and the Americans.) He describes the NSM as “able to reach the target along a programmed route thanks to the GPS-adjusted INS, independently find the target by flying up to it at an altitude of 3-5 meters. When reaching the target, the NSM maneuvers and deploys electronic interference. A highly sensitive thermal imager is used as a homing system, which independently determines the most vulnerable places of the target ship.”

As a direct consequence of hitting the Moskva, NATO managed to reopen an air corridor for the transfer of aircraft to the airfields of Chernivtsi, Transcarpathian and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

Oil rigs in the Black Sea attacked by Ukraine, June 20, 2022.

The provocation marked a significant escalation of electronic warfare in international waters and airspace with Russian public opinion and the families of missing sailors demanding a response from their government. On May 23, 2022, it was announced that Denmark would provide an unspecified number of US-made Harpoon anti-ship missiles and launchers to Ukraine.[87] Denmark's supply of Harpoon missiles to Ukraine to fight the Russian Black Sea Fleet sent off alarm bells in the Kremlin, revealing the goals of NATO's "coalition of the willing" for provocative engagements with Russia's Black Sea fleet. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko noted that if foreign warships enter the Black Sea under the pretext of escorting civilian ships with grain, this would inevitably lead to the war between Russia and NATO. Russia would be concerned about escorting ships with grain, especially if they were British ships. On May 25 according to Radio Liberty Moscow offered safe passage of Ukrainian food exports.[88] The Russian Defense Ministry opened the first humanitarian corridor for foreign ships from Mariupol. In a telephone conversation with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer, a neutral intermediary, TASS reported that President Putin said Ukraine should de-mine its ports to ensure free passage of the blocked ships as soon as possible.[89]

In early June 2022, the Russians set up an S-400 surface-to-air missile system on Snake Island.

On June 20, 2022, three oil drilling platforms in the Black Sea west of Crimea were attacked by the AFU, killing 7 civilians. 94 people were rescued, 3 injured, 1 with shrapnel and 2 with burns. 8 people remain missing. The oil platforms are non-military, civilian projects. The Kyiv regime claims residents of Crimea re Ukrainian citizens; the Kyiv regime gave no explanation for murdering its own citizens working on a civilian infrastructure project. Russia's Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the terrorist attack by Ukrainian troops on the oil drilling platforms. Authorities will find out information about the Ukrainian military who carried out the strikes, and investigators will also establish the manufacturer of the missiles and if NATO is complicit in an act of terrorism.

On October 29, 2022, at 4:20 A.M. local time the Russian Fleet was attacked by nine unmanned aerial vehicles and seven UK Royal Navy autonomous maritime drones. Commercially available boats or jet-skis were modified for this mission. A remotely controlled camera and infrared sensor has been attached to the vessels which were laden with explosives and outer contours had fuses attached. When the craft rammed its target, the fuse activated the explosive. The aerial drones were launched from commercial ships inside the humanitarian corridor for grain shipments. During the attack a U.S. Global Hawk drone flew in circles south of Crimea relaying data from and to the drones. A minesweeper and two ships involved in the grain escort program were damaged.[90]

Transnistria

"We will liberate Transnistria!" digital propaganda poster by the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's psychological operations branch in Ukrainian and Romanian languages circulated in April 2020.

By late April 2022 in the territory of Moldova, warehouses of military uniforms and shoes, NATO army rations and other auxiliary military equipment were being hastily created and filled from abroad. But not weapons depots. There is no need to import weapons, since when Moldova is occupied by the Romanian army, the latter will "come with everything of its own".[91] The objective appears to be a storage depot in Kolbasnaya of roughly 20,000 tons of munitions left over from the Red Army’s evacuation of former Warsaw Pact countries.[92] There is also information about the concentration of Ukrainian units on the border with Transnistria. Most of Transnistria is no more than 10 kilometers wide. The Transnistrian army has zero chance to counter the offensive for any significant period of time without external support in the event of an attack from both sides (and this is exactly what is being planned, as the Nazi governor of the Odessa region Marchenko has already hinted). Polish, Romanian and Moldovan armed forces are concentrating thousands of troops,[93] while from the east, AFU troops and a group of thousands of foreign mercenaries, including Canadian and Croatian units, fighters from Scandinavian countries, and at least 1,000 fighters from the Turkish far-right organization Grey Wolves are concentrated.

The number of the Operational Group of Russian troops in Transnistria is about 1,300. The Armed Forces of Transnistria count up to 7,500, while the Armed Forces of Moldova count up to 5,200 servicemen with a reserve of 60,000 people. The number of Romanian Armed Forces is up to 70,000.

A joint group of 22,000 – 25,000 Polish-Romanian-Moldovan soldiers would be enough to carry out such an operation in the region. The main combat work will fall on the Romanian and Polish assault units. It is estimated that 6,000 Romanian and 3,000 Polish troops of the rapid reaction forces would be enough.

Military clashes of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with the Armed Forces of Poland and Romania on the territory of a non-member state of NATO is the perfect scenario for the Kyiv and Washington regimes. In case of the opening of another front in the neighboring country, the AFU counter offensive should be expected in the south of Ukraine with active defense in the East.

This was the main scenario Zelensky was briefed on by Blinken and Austin on April 24, 2022, which follows ongoing international political developments. The preparation and composition of the sixth package of EU sanctions are associated with events in Transnistria. The escalation of the situation in Transnistria corresponds to Washington's statements that the United States is changing course towards Russia, from the desire to exhaust Moscow economic sanctions, to a direct military confrontation. This was announced by Washington after the meeting with Zelensky. Vladimir Putin responded to NATO's challenge on April 27, 2022, in speech to the Council of Lawmakers of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg:

"if anyone intends to intervene from the outside and create a strategic threat to Russia that is unacceptable to us, they should know that our retaliatory strikes will be lightning-fast. We have the tools we need for this, the likes of which no one else can claim at this point. We will not just brag; we will use them if necessary. And I want everyone to know this; we have already made all the decisions on this matter."[94]
NATO attack on transmission towers, April 25, 2002.

The expected timing of the scenario is from May 12 to May 25, 2022, or from June 15 to June 25, depending on the actions and successes of the Russian Federation in the Donbas region. Speculation existed that Russian POWs taken in Transnistria can then be bartered for the 4,000 Ukrainian POWs already in Russian hands as well as the 1,500 Azov Nazis still held up in the Azovstal. The NATO occupation of Transnistria would complicate operations on the western flank of the Odessa cauldron.

Provocations

On April 25, 2022, the State Security building and two Russian language broadcast facilities were bombed.[95] Igor Girkin reported that a large number of Romanian soldiers and officers were sent to Moldova under the guise of "Moldovan military". In particular, in all headquarters, a significant part of Moldovan officers were replaced by officers of the Romanian army in all key positions, and in the commandant's companies of military units performing the functions of military police, the entire personnel had been replaced with Romanians.

On May 3, 2022, a quadcopter carrying explosives was intercepted over the TV and radio center in the village of Mayak. On May 5, shooting was reported in the area of a border crossing between Ukraine and Transnistria. Law enforcement agencies confirmed that indiscriminate shooting took place on the territory of Ukraine near the village of Pavlovka, near the village of Kuchurgan, in the area of the railway bridge, which was blown up on March 4. An unidentified UAV dropped two explosive devices in the area of the former airfield near the village of Voronkovo. On May 6, another UAV dropped two explosive devices in the same area. The attack was repeated about an hour later. The UAVs reportedly flew from the territory of Ukraine.

May 2022

On May 1, 2022 Defense Updates reported on the delivery of hundreds of the UK Wunderwaffen Brimstone precision guided missiles to Ukraine. Defense Updates reported:

"UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss has stated that victory for Ukraine is a "strategic imperative" for the West and Russian forces must be pushed out of "the whole of Ukraine". This is the clearest statement that has been made yet regarding Britain's war aims which have, until now, been limited to stating that President Putin's invasion of Ukraine "must fail and be seen to fail"....The missile has a range of 60+ km or 37+ mi and a maximum speed of Mach 1.3....It has been estimated that Brimstone is 3 times more effective than the AGM-65G Maverick missile against modern tanks, and 7 times more effective than the BL755 cluster bomb. In combat, Brimstone has demonstrated accuracy and reliability "both well above 90 percent"...This capability will fundamentally change the tactical scenario since the Russian forces will now know that they may have to face long-range precision attacks, chances of which were very limited earlier. It is to be noted that The West is sharing critical intelligence with Ukraine which can be used to prioritize and target the most important Russian assets."[96]

On May 4, 2022 Pentagon officials boasted of having trained 23,000 Ukrainian troops at its former training facility at Yavoriv[97] - most of which had already been destroyed on other fronts by May 2022.[98]

On May 8, 2022, it was reported that the Russians captured a fully intact Brimstone missile which can now be reversed engineered.[99] By the time the "hundreds" of Brimstones are launched against thousands of Russian tanks, a Russian and Chinese version of the Brimstone will likely be available. From that point forward it is only a question of who can produce more, faster. The US and EU's sanction regime against Russia limits the availability of certain component materials needed. Brimstone is a next generation improvement on the American Hellfire missile, bringing Hellfire and Brimstone to the battlefield. On the same day as the disastrous and humiliating defeat and surrender at Azovstal, May 17, 2022, a Russian missile hit a military barrack at Desna, a military base 46 miles northeast of Kyiv, killing 87.[100] The base was hit again in June, this time killing 200.

Two American Howitzers were wiped out by a single kamikaze drone that landed between them. The basic drone before upgrades can be purchased at any hobby store. The Howitzers were part of an $800 million arms package. A single artillery round costs $70,000.

The 90 Howitzers[101] supplied by the United States to Ukraine had their digital fire control systems removed to avoid capture or being sold to the Russians reportedly. On May 18, 2022, the Russian MOD showed video footage of two American Howitzers knocked out by a suicide drone when it landed between them.[102] The AFU reportedly used the M777 howitzers with 155 mm caliber shells to attack civilians in the city of Donetsk. On May 19, 2022, the CIA-controlled Kyiv Independent finally report that Zelensky claimed Ukraine was losing 100 soldiers daily;[103] others had placed the figure at 500 daily two weeks earlier;[104] still others placed the figure at 400-700 daily.[105]

In early May 2022, Ukrainian commanders withdrew defenders from Popasana in order to send a contingent north to the Russian border to plant a blue and yellow papier-mâché pole in unguarded, desolate territory for a photo-op to be used in their global propaganda campaign ahead of the vote in the U.S. Congress for $40 billion in aid.[106] It was later proven to be a fake filmed in an open field nowhere near the Russian border.

In the midst of the cataclysmic events in Donbas, Ukrainian commanders sent troops north supposedly to the Russian border as a political stunt and photo op for Western media consumption.

Two months into the fighting on the Donbas front Ukrainian commanders were deserting the men they were leading.[107][108] Many of the conscripts had only two days training, as most of Ukraine's front-line soldiers had either been captured, killed, or deserted and began walking home. Morale in the AFU, as well as in the general society, dropped quickly after the fairy tale of proud and committed soldiers bravely resisting in Azovstal was shattered. On May 22, 2022, 230 AFU members were killed and 33 armored vehicles were destroyed by the Russian Armed Forces, according to the Russian MOD. In the Donetsk People's Republic, the DPR and LPR troops with support from the Russian Armed Forces had liberated and established control over 216 settlements as of this date. War Gonzo reported the presence of two battalions of Polish infantry in the city of Pavlograd in the Dnipropetrovsk region being prepared for further transfer to the Avdiivka front.[109] Pavlograd is the most important transport hub for supplying the AFU in Donbas. Roads run from it to Marinka and the Kramatorsk-Slavic agglomeration. The railway goes towards Avdiivka. Each battalion has four "Rapier" anti-tank guns, as well also American made armored personnel carriers. It was not clear whether they were Polish regulars or mercenaries.[110] A missile attack was launched on a military facility in Pavlograd.[111]

On May 24, 2022 Politico actually reported that the US Department of Homeland Security issued a warning that American white supremacists were traveling to Ukraine so they can gain combat experience from the Ukrainian Nazis.[112]

On May 25, 2022, Kyiv regime spokesperson Alexey Arestovich blamed Germany for Ukrainian losses in the Donbas. Arestovich said,[113]

NATO proposed partitioning of Ukraine.
"Let’s be honest: Russia is now having a tactical success in Ukraine, which threatens to develop into an operational one in the Lysychansk-Severodonetsk direction. How can this be explained? The pace of lend-lease, which we expected a month ago, did not materialize. Not at the expense of American or British weapons, but at the expense of German....The German side, delaying the transfer of military equipment to us, is indirectly to blame for the fact that is happening at the front."

Arestovich was enraged by a proposal from Italy, Hungary, and Cyprus for an immediate ceasefire and for peace talks to begin[114] as the Donbas cauldron was slammed shut and 15,000 troops faced annihilation: "Go f*** yourselves with such proposals, you dumb f****."[115] Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov reiterated, "Moscow expects Kyiv to accept Moscow's demands and become aware of the de facto situation - the real situation that exists." Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych warned that Ukraine is facing a complete loss of its sovereignty with a peoposed merger with Poland: “In 2014 already, Ukraine was designated by certain Western countries as a territory from which a total weakening of Russia should begin…Precisely as a territory, and not as an independent state, not as people wishing to live in peace with all its neighbors, not excluding Russia.”[116]

Russell Bentley, Information Officer, of the Donetsk People's Republic reported:

"on Monday May 30th, in the mid-morning hours, three separate schools in the center of Donetsk were specifically targeted and bombed by heavy artillery of the Ukrainian Army. May 30th is traditionally the last day of the school year in Donetsk, as it is in Russia, and all schools, from kindergartens to universities, hold a celebration called "Last Bell". It is a joyous celebration, with family members attending, everyone dressed in their finest attire, with songs and poems, awards, balloons, flowers, cake and refreshments. It was these ceremonies that were specifically targeted by the Ukrainian Army, at Schools #22 and #13, and Gymnasium #33. The heavy artillery, 152mm and US-supplied 155mm shells, arrived with pinpoint accuracy, right in front of the schools, where hundreds of students, teachers and their families would have been gathered, had the celebrations not been cancelled, precisely because of the danger of ukrop nazi shelling. In spite of the precautions, two teachers, and one little girl, Lilia Ripenko died. There were also multiple wounded. Had the attack turned out as planned, there would have been scores or even hundreds of dead and wounded, many, if not most, would have been school children.[117]

First reports of a Russian buildup of force west of Kursk in the Russian Federation were reported on May 30, 2022.

In an interview with the Kyiv-based Interfax news agency in late May 2022, Oleksandra Koval, director of the Ukrainian Book Institute (UBI) which is part of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, estimated that more than 100 million copies of Russian language books would be removed from Ukrainian public libraries, fully half of all libraries’ holdings.[118] The city council of Nikolaev banned the teaching of the Russian language in schools.[119] According to a 2017 survey, 63% of the population spoke Russian, 7% Ukrainian, and 28% spoke both Ukrainian and Russian equally.[120] The Ukrainian parliament passed a bill to ban Russian-language music.[121]

NATO drones attempted provocations across the border of the Pskov Region of Russia from Estonia and Latvia repeatedly prior to the beginning of the Special Military Operation on February 24, 2022, and continued afterward, according to the Jerusalem Post.[122]

The Pskov region is located along Russia's border with and Belarus. Estonia and Latvia are both NATO members. On May 4, 2022, the New York Times reported that NATO was complicit in the assassination of several Russian generals through real time intelligence sharing of geolocation surveillance. At least 10 Generals were reported to have been targeted and killed, and numerous Colonel and Lt. Colonel battalion commanders.[123]

On May 24, 2022, Hungary declared a state of emergency.[124]

On May 28, 2022, Europol, the European Unions law enforcement agency, issued a grave warning that NATO weapons flooding into Ukraine were ending up in the hands of criminal organizations.[125]

According to the retired US Army general, the alliance should either "go beyond the outlined framework or cease its activities."[126][127][128]

In early July 2022 saboteurs crossed the border into Russia to burn wheat fields.[129]

On July 19, 2022, a Polish Intelligence Agency (AW) assessment appeared on a Russian Telegram channel. The document alleged 46,000 Ukrainian forces were killed over the past 3 months. Since May 2022, almost all management functions in the planning and conduct of hostilities were assumed by foreign advisers from the United States, Great Britain and Canada. The American 155mm M777 Howitzers delivered to Kiev, which requires an 8 man crew to operate, are not always used for their intended purpose. Instead of conducting counter-battery warfare, guns are often used to bomb civilian populations in cities.[130]

On August 1, 2022, in an interview published in the UK Telegraph, Ukrainian defense official Vadim Skibitsky acknowledged they consult with Washington before launching strikes and that Washington has veto power over decision-making.[131][132] Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova responded with the statement: “No other confirmation of the direct involvement of the United States in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine is required...They are fully involved…Now Kiev representatives are talking about their military involvement not only through the supply of weapons, but through personnel management in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, direct instructions and the choice of targets”.[133]

In August 2022 the NATO attack on the Saki airbase in Crimea sparked widespread public outrage in Russia, demanding revenge. The Saki attack likely was done with airborne AGM-88 HARM missiles. The terror attack was followed up days later with another attack on a nearby ammo dump. The sabotage operations were carried out with 800 drone supplied by Taiwan dropping bombs.

On September 25, 2022, Zelensky confirmed receipt of NASAMS (National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems), another red line.[134]

Newsweek reported on October 26, 2022, the USS George H.W. Bush nuclear armed supercarrier battle group was in the Adriatic Sea, that included more than 80 aircraft, 14 ships, and about 6,000 personnel from 24 NATO allies and partners, including Albania, Canada, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkiye, the United Kingdom, the United States, as well as Finland and Sweden, preparing to engage in war with Russia.[135][136] Additionally, it was reported that U.S. officials told NATO allies that an upgraded B61-12 air-dropped gravity bomb initially scheduled to be transported to Europe next Spring, will now arrive in December 2022.[137]

On October 27, 2022, the moonofalabama.org website was taken offline.

After the NATO attack on October 29, 2022, on Sevastopol, Russia retaliated with 40 missile attacks on the power grid. 80% of Kyiv was reported to be without water. Russia also hit the UK command and training center in Ochakov where the terrorist attacks are planned and executed from.

Ukranska Pravda reported on NATO attack on a Russian airfield near the Latvian border on October 31, 2022, blew up two helicopters.[138]

On November 1, 2022, Russia retaliated with 60 missile attacks.

On November 7, 2022, the UK Daily Express the USS Rhode Island nuclear armed submarine, equipped with 24 Trident II nuclear missiles, left the Port of Gibraltar on Spain's south and was "reportedly heading towards the Black Sea."[139]

On November 23, 2022, NASAMS failed in Kyiv and hit residential areas, killing civilians.[140]

Zaporozhye line

On May 16, 2022, the Ukraine General Staff requested a counter-attack along the Zaporozhye line no matter what the cost. They launched a counterattack with of battalion strength in an attempt to push back the Russian attack. However, the Ukrainians were not prepared. Even worse, on open ground. Ukrainian forces lost two MLRS systems, 40 vehicles, 26 tanks, 12 IFVS destroyed and 300 Ukrainian casualties. One of the Ukrainian tanks destroyed was a Polish built T-72M recently sent to Ukraine.[141]

But that’s OK, we know how to wait."[142]

On June 13, 2022, Ukrainian shelling of Melitopol killed 3 civilians.

Zaporozhye line, October 19, 2022.

As a result of this shooting, 32 Ukrainian servicemen were fatally wounded and killed.” Konashenkov noted such incidents have become more frequent.[143]

On November 4, 2022, Ukrainian terrorists blew up a television station in Melitopol.[144]

On January 20, 2023, the Russians made an assault all along the Zaporozhye line.

By January 27, 2023 Russian forces had entered portions of Ugledar.

June 2022

On June 1, 2022, Russia carried out a nuclear war drill inside the Russian Federation.

On June 6, 2022, the Russian MOD reported the capture of 15 villages without a fight as Ukrainian forces began disobeying the orders of Zelensky, the Ukrainian general staff and their commanders, and retreated along the Seversky Donets line.

On June 8, 2022, Ukrainian losses exceeded 800 for the day. On June 12, 2022, Zelensky signed a decree that supposedly legalized sending untrained members of the Territorial Defense to the front lines as cannon fodder, a practice of the Ukrainian government that had been illegally going on in violation of the Territorial Defense members' contracts for well over a month already. The Kyiv regime turned the weapons it received from NATO and the West on the civilian population of Donbass rather than military targets. There were children among the victims. By June 14, 2022, the Kyiv regime fired a Tochka-Us against civilians in Bryansk, in the Russian Federation, and other artillery attacks along the Russian border.

On June 12, 2022, a Russian Kalibr cruise missile[145] destroyed a very large store of NATO weapons in the Ternopil region.

As of June 15, 2022 the Russian forces had liberated 816 cities, towns and villages. The Russians have been able to form military units out of captured and surrendered Ukrainian fighters, beginning in the Republic of Zaporozhye. The Ukrainian military presented the West with a wish list of heavy equipment that it felt, would not necessarily win the war, but enable them to hold the line against Russian forces. The list included: more artillery pieces than the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps combined possess; more tanks than the United Kingdom and Germany combined possess. The same day, Gen. Mark Milley, chairperson of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, told a press conference,

"the United States has provided over 6,500 Javelins and 20,000 other anti-armor systems. Collectively, the international community has provided almost 97,000 anti-tank systems. More anti-tank systems than there are tanks in the world,"[146]

and yet none of it was enough, Zelensky repeatedly asked for more, and the Ukrainian regime itself reported that it was losing 1,000 fighters a day.[147]

On June 17, 2022, the major oil refinery at Kremenchuk was destroyed by Russian cruise missiles.[148]

On June 19, 2022, Zelensky told a group of soldiers in Mykolaiv, "Ukraine will definitely win;"[149] hours later Lt. Gen. Igor Konashenkov of the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Russian sea-launched Kalibr cruise missiles wiped out the Ukrainian General Staff operating in Mykolaiv and Zaporozhye.[150] 57 top Ukrainian officers were killed in the strike.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on June 20, 2022:

"Since 19 May, the 14th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine alone has lost more than 2,100 people killed and wounded...Due to the low morale and psychological state of 800 people intended to make up for the losses of this formation, they refused to go to the area of hostilities, accusing the officers of incompetence, bribery and nepotism in the payment of monetary allowances...In addition, in the 10th Ukrainian mountain assault brigade, about 100 servicemen of the reconnaissance unit were removed from combat missions due to mass disobedience to the command and taken to the city of Kremenchug for investigation.”

HIMAR multiple rocket launcher range outlined in red. Delivery of U.S. made HIMARs marked an aggressive and dangerous escalation by NATO of the conflict.

Several AFU POWs became instructors for Russian forces on how to use captured NATO missiles, such as the Javelin, NLAW, and Panzerfaust 3.[151][152][153] By one estimate, the Russians had captured more U.S. made Javelin anti-tank missiles than rhe AFU fired at Russian tanks.

Russian Armed Forces consistently fired 50,000 artillery rounds daily;[154] in the whole of Operation Desert Storm, where the ground war lasted only four months, all branches of the United States military fired a total of 60,000 artillery rounds combined.

One of the first uses of the HIMAR rocket launch system given by the United States to Ukraine was to strike a hospital.[155] HIMARs have a firing range of up to 70 kilometers with pinpoint accuracy. Real time intelligence sharing from the United States National Reconnaissance Office, National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency, CIA, and National Security Agency to geolocate targets is an act of war on the part of the United States.[156] The United States has committed one third of its stockpile of HIMAR missiles to Ukraine, or about 8,000 missiles. After combat testing in Ukraine, it became known that the Russians had the ability to shoot down HIMAR missiles.

HIMARs, advertised as a wunder waffe which would save the war for Ukraine, are designed to remain stationary on a battlefield in which the United States has air superiority and is not subject to counter-battery artillery fire. Sources say a battery of six HIMARs requires 130 support vehicles, including cranes to lift and load missiles. HIMARs are not designed to play in a 'shoot and scoot' scenario where they set up and fire in two minutes and then immediately withdraw to hide in a shell game from Russians hunting them down.

On June 26, 2022, Russian forces retaliated for the recent Ukrainian artillery shelling of civilians with American Howitzer M777s in the Donetsk and Lugansk Republics which claimed at least 28 lives and more than 100 injured. The Russians struck military and industrial installations in Kyiv, including a factory that produced MLRS. The Russians launched 4 missiles on Kyiv which the Ukrainians were able to shoot down with their S-300 and BUK systems; however once being exposed, the Russians then were able to wipe the city of Kyiv's missile defense system. According to reports, one of the S-300 missiles fell on a residential apartment complex.

The U.N. Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights concluded on June 29, 2022, that the Armed Forces of the Ukraine used civilians as human shields in Stara Krasnyanka when Ukrainian soldiers took up positions inside a nursing home, effectively making the building a legitimate military target.[157]

Four months into the operation veteran Russian frontline war correspondent Alexander Sladkov spoke about what he found to be the condition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as NATO continued pouring weapons into the country, and Zelensky's relentless stand and fight orders:

"50,000 dead. That's one and half Army Corps or 5 Divisions, or 25 regiments, or 143 battalions. Dead Ukrainian soldiers lie wherever our troops advance. Their funeral services, in my opinion, are inactive. They always leave their dead behind. By the way, in the Soviet Army, in wartime, the regimental band became the funeral team, and the chief of the regiment managed the collection of bodies and the burial. In the Ukrainian armed services, apparently, there is an immoral mess in this case. This is a sign of a clear decay of order and discipline. This is typical of retreating, morally decomposed units. Further going for the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be even sadder. Tragedy awaits them."[158][159]

July 2022

Dmitri Medvedev's proposal for Ukraine settlement.

The battle for Severodonetsk-Lisichansk metropolitan area ended with the victory of Russian-led forces. The front line of Bakhmut/Artemovsk – Soledar-Seversk became the new hotspot.

On July 4, 2022, the civilian populations of the Russian cities of Belgorod and Kursk came under massive shelling attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At least 5 civilians were killed in Belgorod, and 5 more were injured, including a 10-year-old child. According to Russian media, 3 members of a Ukrainian family from Kharkiv, who moved to Russia after the outbreak of hostilities, died as a result of the attack. Civilian infrastructure was severely damaged. At least 40 houses were damaged, 5 of them were completely destroyed. The attack was carried out with Ukrainian Tochka-U missiles.

On July 5, 2022, five children were killed by Ukrainian shelling in the Donbas.

On July 6, 2022, seven civilians were killed in the Donetsk People's Republic, including three children. 28 civilians were injured, including 8 children. The AFU shelled the residential quarter in the town of Makeevka. As a result of the attack, three children and a man were killed. The victims are an 8-years-old girl, a 7-years old boy and a 17-years-old boy. 10 others civilians were injured, including 7 children. The shelling was carried out by the 25th separate assault brigade of the AFU, commander – Colonel Kurash Evgeny Yuryevich; chief of artillery – Lieutenant Colonel of the Chapter Vladimir Viktorovich. The Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case,[160] and the criminals if convicted will face capital punishment when captured by Russian forces. An eyewitnesses described the attack:

“After it calmed down a little bit, I went out on the balcony, looked: there were two children on the playground. A boy and a girl… The girl was still sitting, she was alive. She pulled the boy … Then, when I rushed out… the girl was already lying on the boy."

Another boy was injured as a result of the shelling in Donetsk. He risked losing his arm but doctors managed to save it.

On July 7, 2022, a Ukrainian shell killed a 30-year-old woman on Stakhanov Street in Donetsk. 10 more people were injured, including a child.

On July 7, 2022, a group of Belarussian neo-Nazi mercenaries were destroyed near Seversk.

On July 7, 2022, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the results of the analysis of the military-biological activity of the US and its allies in Ukraine and other regions of the world. The report confirms that:

  • Ukrainian special units were planning to use biological weapons in Eastern Ukraine;
  • Ukrainian servicemen were involved as volunteers in experiments to assess the tolerance of dangerous infectious diseases;
  • the official activities of the Pentagon in Ukraine are just a front for illegal military and biological research
  • Ukraine and other post-Soviet states have become a testing ground for biological weapons not only for the US, but also for its NATO allies
  • the U.S. persists on its policy of building up its own military and biological capabilities in circumvention of international agreements.

Larry Johnson[161] summarized reports of the Russian MOD between July 4 and 9, 2022 which by summer 2022 had proven more credible than any information coming from the Ukrainian government, the Pentagon, the D.C.-based Institute for the Study of War, UK sources, or Western mainstream media. A total of 20 specific Ukrainian military forces were hit with missile and artillery strikes during this 6 day period (the numbers include locations identified as a base for foreign mercenaries). 50% of the strikes occurred in the DPR. Kharkiv, which is about 300 miles northeast of Donetsk, accounted for three strikes (4-6 July 4–6, 2022). There was one strike in Zelenodolsk, which is in the Dnepropetrovsk oblast. That missile strike killed 40.

In the Donetsk People's Republic, Russia hit 13 Command Posts (CPs) between July 4 and 6, 2022. In Nikolaev, Russia hit 6 CPs and killed 375 Ukrainians. A Foreign Mercenary base also was hit. The Russian MOD did not report hitting any CPs in the Kharkiv region. However, the missile strikes did result in 535 dead Ukrainian troops. The Russian MOD briefing also provides a summary of military equipment destroyed. For example, the MOD reports that 3,995 tanks and armored combat vehicles have been destroyed. Ukraine started the war with 1472 tanks and 20 tank destroyers.

According to the data and evidence collected by the Russian Foundation for Combating Repression, the Ukrainian military were given direct orders to use weapons to kill against civilians of Donbas.[162]

By July 10, 2022, Ukraine claimed to have mobilized a one million person force. More and more females were appearing on the front line. Ukraine reportedly will have 200,000 females under arms eventually.

According to a July 11, 2022 report in Ukrainian media, Ruslan Onishenko, commander of the now-disbanded Tornado Battalion, was freed as part of Zelensky's scheme to release prisoners with combat experience. Along with an unwavering commitment to fascism, Onishenko is known as a psychopathic sadist who was involved in sexually assaulting children, brutally torturing prisoners, and murder.[163] Onishenko's release follows a February 27, 2022 order by Zelensky to free other convicted former Tornado members like Danil “Mujahed” Lyashuk, a fanatic from Belarus who has openly emulated ISIS and boasted of torturing captives for sheer enjoyment. According to Zelensky's decree, prisoners with combat experience would be allowed to “compensate for their guilt” by fighting in the “hottest spots.”[164]

Donbas cauldron August 2, 2022.

On July 11, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree allowing all people living in territories occupied by the Maidan regime to apply for citizenship of the Russian Federation.[165]

On July 13, 2022, the U.S. State Department issued Stage 4 war alert declaring: “Ukraine Travel Advisory: Do Not Travel And Leave Immediately”.[166]

On July 22, 2022, the Russian MOD reported the destruction of a fourth U.S. built HIMAR.[167] The Russian MOD reported that on July 24, 2022, a strike by Russia's Aerospace Forces (VDV) on an ammunition depot in the Dnepropetrovsk region destroyed more than a hundred missiles for the US-made HIMARS Multiple launch rocket system. The missiles cost $3–5 million each. It is also noted that up to 120 Ukrainian military personnel guarding the facility, as well as foreign mercenaries and technical specialists were killed.

On July 25, 2022, it was reported that Ukrainian intelligence and its NATO allies were attempting to bribe Russian pilots with $1 million in cash, EU passports for themselves and their wives, and a comfortable life abroad if they were to deliver a Russian aircraft to Ukraine. Christo Grozov, head of bellingcat.com, was said to be in charge of the operation.[168] In attempting to hijack Russian combat aircraft, Ukrainian intelligence revealed its own air defense layouts by letting it slip what settlements of Ukraine there are the largest number of MANPADS for the pilots to avoid.[169]

In July 2022 Ukrainian-born U.S. congresswoman Victoria Spartz urged Zelensky to fire his chief of staff Andrei Yermak for corruption. Western delivered arms had been disappearing without ever making it to the frontlines,[170] including Javelin missiles, British NLAWs, and German Panzerfausts. Two French built CEASER self-propelled artillery pieces were sold to allied Russian forces for $120,000 as were a US built HIMAR system for $800,000, and missiles for the system for an additional $300,000.

The flow of new international support for Ukraine dried up in July 2022/[171]

On July 20, 2022, the Ukrainians launched 12 HIMAR missiles attempting to knock out the Nova Kakhovka Dam railway bridge. Russian S-400 missile defense system went 12 for 12 in knocking out the missiles fired by the American built Wunderwaffe.

On July 21, 2022, the servicemen of the rifle battalion of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine deployed in Nikolaev published a video in which they reported the brutal murder of a soldier who was beaten to death by Ukrainian officers.[172]

On July 22, 2022, the Russian MOD reported the destruction of a fourth U.S. built HIMAR.[173] The HIMARs cost U.S. taxpayers about $5.5 million per unit, whereas the ZALA Lancet kamikaze drones that destroy them are fairly cheap.[174]

On July 23, 2022, Russian missile attacks destroyed U.S.-delivered Harpoon missiles hidden in grain storage facilities in the port of Odessa.[175]

The Russian MOD reported that on July 24, 2022, a strike by Russia's Aerospace Forces (VDV) on an ammunition depot in the Dnepropetrovsk region destroyed more than a hundred missiles for the US-made HIMARS Multiple launch rocket system. The missiles cost $3–5 million each. It is also noted that up to 120 Ukrainian military personnel guarding the facility, as well as foreign mercenaries and technical specialists were killed. The commander of the Ukrainian 28th brigade was killed. Another video was posted by a marine from the 35th Brigade telling the story of AFU frontline conditions.[176]

Christo Grozov, head of bellingcat.com, was said to be in charge of the operation.[177] In attempting to hijack Russian combat aircraft, Ukrainian intelligence revealed its own air defense layouts by letting it slip what settlements of Ukraine there are the largest number of MANPADS for the pilots to avoid.[178]

By July 26, 2022, after the bridge had been hit with 36 missiles, the bridge was closed to civilian traffic. AFU/NATO forces were attempting to cut off an escape route for Russian forces on the west side of the Dnieper River before its first much publicized "counteroffensive" scheduled for August to convince Western media, public, and governments to keep pumping money and weapons into the failed state. The Ukrainians are said to have 200,000 troops, reservists, conscripts, and Territorial Reserve arrayed against Russian forces on the west bank of the Dnieper River. The entire alleged "counteroffensive" to "retake Kherson" was proven to be another publicity stunt aimed at Western media for propaganda purposes, because the city of Kherson sits on the opposite side of the river from which Ukraine and NATO were destroying all the bridges with HIMARs to gain access to the city.

To much fanfare, the AFU supposedly launched a counteroffensive across the Ingulets River; the next day on July 27, 2022, they were driven back across the river.

Aftermath of strike on Elenovka POW camp.

On July 29, 2022 Reuters reported the prisoner-of-war camp at Elenovka was hit by a U.S.-built HIMAR,[179] causing the deaths of 40 prisoners and 13 guards and prison employees.[180] At least one hundred other prisoners were injured. Sources reported that captured Ukrainian prisoners-of-war were giving up much critical information on U.S./Ukraine/NATO operations and illegal weapon's transfers, including arms to Kurdish terrorists in Syria to be used against NATO member Turkiye.[181] Ukraine forces on the battlefield attempting to surrender have been documented to have been executed by Ukrainian commanders. A bill was introduced into the Ukrainian parliament granting legal authority to Ukrainian commanders to execute Ukrainian soldiers who wanted to surrender. Morale was reported to have fallen in recent weeks among Azov Battalion detainees at Elenovka as they realized the Kyiv regime was not negotiating their exchange for Russian POWs, and they began giving up more information in exchange for more lenient sentences for war crimes.

On July 31, 2022, it was reported that Ukrainian commander in chief Gen Valerii Zaluzhnyi recommended to Maidan leader Zelensky to cancel NATO's planned Kherson offensive being a waste of time, manpower, and resources.

Kherson front

We urge Zelensky to give the order to withdraw his troops and end the occupation of the city," Rogov told RIA Novosti.[182] According to him, the population of the remaining part of the region "is waiting for liberation and asks to be saved from the occupation of Ukrainian nationalists." Rogov claimed that militants, "policemen" and the SBU were conducting "mass raids" in the city:

Effect of precision-guided HIMAR missile attack on the Antonovsky Bridge.
"I urge the residents of the city to be careful. Do not receive subpoenas, do not be at the registration address, where you can be easily found. If possible, leave the city for the liberated territory. If such an opportunity is no longer available, stock up on food and water, and also find the safest place in the conditions of urban battles, to which Zelensky terrorists who took hostage the civilian population of the city are leading Zaporozhye."

On July 20, 2022, the Ukrainians launched 12 HIMAR missiles attempting to knock out the Nova Kakhovka Dam railway bridge. Russian S-400 missile defense system went 12 for 12 in knocking out the missiles fired by the American built Wunderwaffe.

On August 22, 2022, Ukrainian forces continued bombing attacks on the Antonovsky bridge and Nova Kakhovka dam. Ukrainian forces were thrown back across the Ingulets River with heavy losses.

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov reported the destruction of 200 Nazis, including American and Polish mercenaries on November 23, 2022.

Artillery duels across the river persisted for months after the Russian withdrawal from the city of Kherson. On March 1, 2023 the Russian MOD reported 85 Ukrainian soldiers had been killed and 16 armored vehicles destroyed.

August 2022

Kherson bridgehead showing the Antonovsky bridge with the main highway link to the Nova Kakhovka dam.

In late July 2022 Ukrainian and NATO strategists began removing artillery and manpower from Avdiivka, and transferring them to the west bank of the Dnieper for the so-called upcoming "counteroffensive" against the Kherson bridgehead. This action allowed a Russian breakthrough against the heretofore impregnable Avdiivka frontline entrenchment, which held for eight years since 2014 and has been a key artillery firing point against the citizens of Donetsk.

As the breakthrough continued on August 2, 2022, the Ukrainian 54th mechanized brigade lost 50 soldiers to friendly fire. Ukrainian forces completely destroyed members of its own 56th mechanized brigade by artillery fire as they were retreating from the village of Pisky. Ukrainian journalist Yuriy Butusov, who was embedded with the AFU in Donbas, posted an expletive-laden report from Pisky revealing “There is no counter-battery fire, none at all...Russian forces are firing 6,500 shells per f****** village in less than 24 hours...It’s been like this for six days now, and it’s hard to fathom how any number of our infantry remain alive under this barrage...Without counter-battery fighting, it turns into a senseless meat grinder, where huge numbers of our infantry are chewed up in one day...A reserve platoon that tried to advance was taken apart in minutes, with only one out of 15 men left unharmed...All the reserves are spent, the military equipment goes up in flames, and the enemy approaches and takes our positions without any problems after another barrage of artillery...Right now we are losing Péski, all our human and material capabilities are almost exhausted”. Pisky was once a more affluent suburb of the city of Donetsk with 2,000 inhabitants; after the Kyiv regime attacked the Donetsk airport in 2014, the population fell to as low as 6 inhabitants at one point. Russian forces deliberately chose Pisky as a weak point in the Avdiivka front as a breakthrough point specifically because of the low risk of danger to civilians. The collapse of a once prosperous community since 2014 is emblematic of the devastation the U.S.-backed Maidan regime wrought upon the Ukrainian economy and population.

On August 2, 2022, the Ukrainian body count across the front line as it was collapsing was about 1,000. About 250 foreign mercenaries in the Ukrainian foreign legion were killed in Nikolaev.

On August 3, 2022 Amnesty International issued a damning report accusing Vladimir Zelensky and the Zelensky regime of war crimes, saying “Ukrainian forces have a pattern of placing troops and military vehicles in residential areas, including using hospitals as de facto military bases...Such actions violate international humanitarian law and put civilian lives at risk.”[183][184]

On August 6, 2022, the Russian MOD reported killing 80 foreign mercenaries and the loss of 220 members of the AFU 63 Mechanized Brigade, and 400 members of the 45th Airborne Brigade on the Kherson "counteroffensive" front line. Members of the several other AFU brigades refused to follow Ukrainian leadership orders, and deserted. Russian forces began an advance toward Nikolaev and occupied abandoned positions by the AFU forces. Ukraine instituted Gestapo restrictions in the city of Nikolaev, not allowing anyone to enter or exit the city.

Fresh graves of Ukrainian soldiers. By late summer 2022, inflation and the economic crash in Ukraine fell to the extent where flowers were stolen off the graves overnight and resold the next morning in the city market.[185]

As of August 7, 2022 the Russian MOD claimed to have taken 7 of the 16 HIMARs delivered to Ukraine out of service. By the first week of August, the Russians were conducting operations against Nikolaev and moving forward on 6 different fronts.[186]

Between July 11 and August 11, 2022, more than 22,000 Ukrainian fighters were reported to have been killed on the battlefield.

On August 13, 2022, the Russian MOD reported that Ukrainian POWs did not want to be exchanged for fear of being sent to the front lines again.

On August 16, 2022, the CIA mouthpiece the Kyiv Independent reported that Ukraine had passed a new law that branded receiving humanitarian assistance from Russians as "collaborationism," punishable by up to 15 years. Humanitarian assistance can be defined as food, medical, transportation, and any number of thousands of ways one human being can assist another.[187] The Financial Times of London reported that Ukraine's "major counteroffensive" for Kherson, scheduled in August to impress the Kyiv regime's Western backers of its determination and willingness to fight using its Western aid and weapons, had been postponed until next year.[188]

On August 21, 2022, reports of a biochem attack on Russian soldiers came in.

By August 28, 2022, all Ukrainian pilots had been killed. The United States intervened to recruit Afghan refugee pilots who been trained to hire as mercenary pilots.

On August 30, 2022, a scandal was reported among Ukrainian government officials involving the theft of 21 shipping containers, 389 railway cars, and 220 semi-truck loads of humanitarian assistance, as well as cash to provide 240,000 free meals at a cost of $50 each. Only 24 meals were ever given out.[189][190]

By the end of August 2022 Ukrainian sources claimed 10 of 16 HIMARs had been destroyed by Russian forces, and the remainder had been withdrawn from service and placed in reserve.

Ukraine's much ballyhooed "August counteroffensive" began in the early morning hours of August 29, 2022 approximately 36,000 Ukrainians advanced along the 183 km Kherson front, with the loss of 26 tanks, 23 amphibious vehicles, 9 armored vehicles, 2 SU-25 fighter aircraft, and 560 killed in action. The Russians lost 1 tank, 1 Uragan rocket launcher, 1 Pantsir missile system, 2 drones, 9 ammo storage locations and 41 casualties.

On the Ukrainian side of the line of contact, requests went out to the general public for blood donors.

After the NATO-led assault on the Kharkov and Izium front in September 2022,[191] numerous assassinations, sabotage, nuclear blackmail, terrorism plots and continued shelling of the Donetsk and Lugansk Republics killing dozens of civilians - including children with U.S.-built HIMAR missile launcher systems,[192] the Russian State Duma began debating an upgrade of the Special Military Operation to a counterterrorism operation.[193]

Izium-Kharkiv front

Fall of the Izium bridgehead.

Since the capture of Izium in eastern Kharkiv province by the Russians in early April 2022, the civilian population of the city became the target of Grad rockets (many bearing cluster submunitions) on a daily basis by the Kyiv regime. On April 28, 2022, Russian air defense forces repelled an attack by a Ukrainian Tochka-U ballistic missile on residential areas of Izium. The target of the strike was the city hospital, where the Russian medical detachment is located providing assistance to the population of Kharkiv Region. “The Kyiv nationalist regime’s indiscriminate missile strikes on the residential areas of Izium and Kherson are a war crime and a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement. In late August 2022 lockdowns and house-to-house raids in Kharkiv by the Ukrainian gestapo looking for Russian sympathizers were underway.

By the end of August 2022, fighting on Kharkiv front intensified.

On September 4, 2022, the town of Balakleya had no Russian combat troops, only the Special Rapid Response (SOBR) or SWAT units of the Rosguardia (Rosgvardia), which were created to fight organized crime and terrorism and not trained for high-intensity combat.[194] So was a wide swath of towns and village's manned across what became NATO's offensive on the Kharkiv front.

On September 5, 2022, a force of about 9,000 with servicemen from every NATO state began a counteroffensive on the Kharkiv-Izium front toward Kupyansk (pop. 27,000), the administrative center of Kharkiv oblast. With fewer than 1,000 Russian Rosguardia remaining in Izium, all were safely evacuated. There were no Russian army losses because there were no Russian army troops in the region. Whole units of NATO countries engaged in the fighting, who simply changed their chevrons to Ukrainian ones.[195] The NATO/Ukrainian forces were essentially punching at air, knowing there would be no resistance. The Kharkiv counteroffensive took place in tandem with the high-level NATO Ramstein meeting of NATO warlords to discuss continued support for the war in Ukraine. By Day 3 of the Ukrainian offensive, 2,000 Ukrainians had been killed, with a loss of about 40% of equipment received from NATO since last spring.[196] Reports indicated the Ukrainian Gestapo was already engaged in reprisal actions against local civilians. Under a law passed by the Ukrainian parliament in June 2022, any person who accepts food or medical services from Russians is deemed a "collaborator."[197] Streams of civilians were evacuated to Russia during the withdrawal and immediate aftermath during reprisals.[198]

Withdrawal from Liman.

By the end of September 9, 2022 RF reserves halted the Ukrainian advance a few kilometers from the city of Kupyansk. From the south of Izium heavy armored vehicles on the front from NATO countries were advancing to Vernopolye and Dolina. The front stabilized by September 13, 2022. Iranian kamikaze drones were proving to be effective in slowing the NATO/Ukrainian advance.

The success of the September 2022 NATO/Ukraine Kharkov counteroffensive was possible due to NATO/Ukraine forces being able to build up and hide NATO armor and tanks over the previous summer months in heavily forested areas of the Kharkov oblast. However once the counteroffensive was underway, the drive was costly in both manpower and material in just two weeks against a Russian and LPR skeleton force. With the Russian partial mobilization underway, and the depletion and degradation of NATO forces, the outlook for the coming fall and winter Russian offensives by NATO/Ukrainian forces without tree-cover appeared bleak.[199]

By September 23, 2022, Ukrainian and NATO forces lost an additional 3,000 troops in its assault on Liman.

Autumn Zelensky Offensive

Zelensky Offensive, Autumn 2022

Ukraine's much ballyhooed "August counteroffensive" commenced on Volodymyr Zelensky's personal orders in the early morning hours of August 29, 2022. Approximately 36,000 Ukrainians advanced along the 183 km Kherson front, with the loss of 26 tanks, 23 amphibious vehicles, 9 armored vehicles, 2 SU-25 fighter aircraft, and 560 killed in action. The Russians lost 1 tank, 1 Uragan rocket launcher, 1 Pantsir missile system, 2 drones, 9 ammo storage locations and 41 casualties.

On the Ukrainian side of the line of contact, requests went out to the general public for blood donors. By Day 3, more than 1,700 Ukrainian soldiers had been killed. By Day 4, the counteroffensive stalled and withdrew, with over 2,000 dead.

The Zelensky Offensive was four months in the planning since April 2022. Western powers demanded to see action and results for all the money and weapons pumped into Ukraine since 2014.[200] Military strategists argued the plan to send human wave infantry attacks across flat land with no artillery or air support was doomed to fail from the start. Zelensky ordered the attack anyway on the morning August 29, 2022 to please his Western masters and keep the flood of cash and weapons flowing. Within three days the attack accomplished nothing other than killing thousands more of Ukrainian troops.

By Day 5 of the Zelensky Offensive, Ukraine lost 3,000 troops killed and 7,000 wounded who could not return to combat, or roughly one whole Division. The Washington Post reported,

Nearly 2,000 Ukrainians killed in the long-awaited first 2 days of the Zelensky Offensive.

"In dimly lit hospital rooms in southern Ukraine, soldiers with severed limbs, shrapnel wounds, mangled hands and shattered joints recounted the lopsided disadvantages their units faced in the early days of a new offensive to expel Russian forces from the strategic city of Kherson...The soldiers said they lacked the artillery needed to dislodge Russia’s entrenched forces and described a yawning technology gap with their better-equipped adversaries...The interviews provided some of the first direct accounts of a push to retake captured territory that is so sensitive, Ukrainian military commanders have barred reporters from visiting the front lines”.[201]

On the night of September 17, 2022 Ukrainian saboteurs in the city center of Kherson were eliminated.[202]

On September 25, 2022, during the referendums, the Kyiv proxy regime and NATO attacked a hotel in downtown Kherson, killing a journalist and Alexey Zhuravk, a former member of the Ukrainian parliament.[203] Russian paratroopers destroyed a column of NATO armored vehicles.[204]

On October 18, 2022, the AFU/NATO launched a US-made High-speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM) and hit the Energia stadium in Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region, killing two civilians and injuring others. In a late-night TV address a Kherson official called for people to "evacuate the city as quickly as possible" and said Ukraine "will begin an offensive on the city of Kherson very soon."[205] Approximately 50,000-60,000 civilians were being ferried across the Dnieper river. Russian Commander of the Integrated Group of Forces in Ukraine Army General Sergey Surovikin told reporters,

"The NATO command of the armed forces of Ukraine has long been demanding offensive operations in the Kherson direction from the Kiev regime, regardless of any casualties – both in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and among the civilian population.

These actions can lead to the destruction of the infrastructure of this large industrial center and massive casualties among the civilian population.

In the ongoing effort to dislodge the Russian military from its positions, Kiev is pouring its reserves en masse into the frontline.

The vast majority of those reserves are territorial defense units, who have not been properly trained. Such troops have low morale, thus they are propped up by “barrier squads” composed of hardline nationalists who shoot anyone trying to leave the battlefield.

The enemy’s losses amount to 600 to 1,000 casualties daily.

We have a different strategy. We are not aiming at fast-paced offensives, we spare every soldier and methodically grind the enemy’s attacking forces. This not only minimizes our own losses, but also significantly reduces the amount of victims among the civilian population.

The enemy is the criminal regime that pushes Ukrainian citizens towards death.

We are one people with Ukrainians and only wish for Ukraine to be a state independent from the West and NATO and friendly towards Russia."[206]

September 2022

After the NATO-led assault on the Kharkov and Izium front in September 2022,[207] numerous assassinations, sabotage, nuclear blackmail, terrorism plots and continued shelling of the Donetsk and Lugansk Republics killing dozens of civilians - including children with U.S.-built HIMAR missile launcher systems,[208] the Russian State Duma began debating an upgrade of the Special Military Operation to a counterterrorism operation.[209] Between the Kharkov and Kherson counteroffensives, 12,000 Ukrainian and NATO forces were killed. Russian casualties were fewer than 400. Ukraine threw all its strategic reserves into the fight. Due to the magnitude of losses and the approaching seasonal change, Gen. Valerei Zalushni was reported to have advised Zelensky to cease the counteroffensvie and revert to a defensive posture.

In Kyiv on September 10, 2022 Antony Blinken conveyed a message from Joe Biden to begin negotiations with Russia, according to Ukrainska Pravda.[210]

NATO's sabotage of the Nordstream pipelines.[211]

The FSB announced on September 22, 2022, that it foiled an attempted terrorist attack by Russian nationals on the US/NATO/Kyiv payroll to blow up one the TurkStream natural gas pipeline from Russia to Turkiye.[212]

On September 26, 2022, NATO naval commandos sabotaged both the Nordstream I and Nordstream II pipelines in Danish water off Barnholm island,[213] guaranteeing that the German people and others throughout the continent would freeze as winter approached. The detachment of US Navy ships led by the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge announced the completion of work in the area of the alleged sabotage on gas pipelines. US ships completed their tasks in the Baltic Sea and were spotted heading to the Baltic Straits into the North Sea. President Putin had proposed three weeks earlier to reopen the pipeline to alleviate Europeans home heating crisis[214] while Biden had vowed to end the pipeline.[215]

With the approval of the four treaties of accession to the Russian Federation by the Russian State Duma, the Special Military Operation came to an end. With the incorporation four new Republics into the Federation, Russia found itself under conditions that Russian Military Doctrine describes as the "massive use by the enemy of modern and advanced combat weapons" flooded into Ukraine by the Western powers NATO bloc.[216]

Zelensky Offensive

In the first 6 weeks of the Zelensky Offensive on the Kharkov and Kherson fronts, NATO/Ukraine lost about 18,000 troops killed, and likely twice that number injured. The offensive was not guided by military and strategic considerations, but largely political in nature, with the looming U.S. midterm elections on November 8 and nothing to show for the $65 billion in aid given to Zelensky since February 2022. On October 11, 2022, NATO boss Jens Stoltenberg told the bloc's defense ministers: “It is important for all of us, that Ukraine wins the battle…Because if Putin wins, that is not only a big defeat for Ukrainians, but it will be a defeat and dangerous for all of us."[217] Russian Security Council deputy chair Dmitry Medvedev responded, “The comment is an open confirmation of NATO’s participation in the war against our country – an unwise, but pure-hearted remark...The honest Norwegian fellow has finally admitted it”.[218]

Zaporozhye counteroffensive

By September 11, 2022, Ukrainian and NATO forces began de-mining operations of their own mines along the Zaporozhye line in preparation for an advance in the Mariupol direction.

Today the whole day was the transfer of Ukrainian troops. The amount of equipment that is being transferred is also impressive. The accumulation of forces is simply colossal, there has not been such a large number of army, weapons, Militants of Zelensky since the beginning of the special operation on the line of combat contact in the Zaporozhya region."[219]

On September 24, 2022, during the referendum, a group of Ukrainian commandos penetrated the Russian line wearing Russian uniforms, was spotted and destroyed.

On November 6, 2022, horrendous losses on both sides were reported at Pavlovka (pop. 5,000). On November 11 the Russians captured the town.[220] 1,400 soldiers and mercenaries of Ukraine were reported as eliminated in Pavlovka on November 14, according to the RF MOD.[221]

Ukrainian troops removed a World War II T-34 monument in Lysychansk and parked it in the street during the occupation.[222]

The battle for Severodonetsk-Lysychansk metropolitan area ended with the victory of Russian-led forces. AFU forces suffered about 7,000 casualties in the Battle of Severodonetsk-Lysychansk. The front line of Bakhmut/Artemovsk – Soledar-Seversk, also known as the Zelensky Line, became the new hotspot.

After the strategic withdrawal of 30,000 Russian forces from Ilium and the Kharkov front, by mid-September 2022 the Seversky-Donets front became an active zone of resistance again.

As of September 27, 2022 about the 4,000 Russian forces remained in Liman (pop. 20,000) bridgehead, however the kill ratio of NATO/Ukrainian forces was said to be higher than Kharkov, Kherson, and Lysychansk combined.

Under cover of darkness on September 30, 2022, the NATO/Ukraine encirclement of Liman began.[223] By October 1, 2022, the Russian strategic withdrawal from Krasny Liman was complete. Nearly 4,000 NATO/Ukraine forces were killed in the two week Battle of Liman, nearly 10% of its fighting force in the sector.

As citizens fled the NATO/Ukrainian advance, the Ukrainian regime destroyed a column of civilian vehicles killing at least 80 non-military personnel. The Ukrainian Interior Minister adviser Anton Herashchenkowho, helped found the regime's official Myrotvorets kill list, posted on social media about the massacre of a civilian convoy by the AFU's nazi “Misanthropic Division.”[224]

US attack on the Nordstream pipeline

In 2015, Pipeline Technology Journal reported that the Swedish military discovered a remote operated vehicle (drone) rigged with explosives near the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.[226][227]

Biden and his foreign policy team—National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, Secretary of State Tony Blinken, and Victoria Nuland had been vocal and consistent in their hostility to the two pipelines, which ran side by side for 750 miles under the Baltic Sea from two different ports in northeastern Russia near the Estonian border, passing close to the Danish island of Bornholm before ending in northern Germany.

Many Germans saw Nord Stream 1 as part of the deliverance of former Chancellor Willy Brandt’s famed Ostpolitik, which would enable postwar Germany to rehabilitate itself and other European nations destroyed in World War II by, among other initiatives, utilizing cheap Russian gas to fuel a prosperous Western European market and trading economy.

Biden authorized Jake Sullivan to bring together an interagency group to come up with a plan. In December of 2021, two months before the first Russian tanks rolled into Ukraine, Sullivan convened a meeting of a newly formed task force—men and women from the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the CIA, and the State and Treasury Departments—and asked for recommendations about how to respond to Putin’s impending invasion.

Over the next several meetings, the participants debated options for an attack. The Navy proposed using a newly commissioned submarine to assault the pipeline directly. The Air Force discussed dropping bombs with delayed fuses that could be set off remotely. The CIA argued that whatever was done, it would have to be covert. Everyone involved understood the stakes. “This is not kiddie stuff,” according to a source directly familiar with the matter. If the attack were traceable to the United States, “It’s an act of war.”

Throughout “all of this scheming,” the source said, “some working guys in the CIA and the State Department were saying, ‘Don’t do this. It’s stupid and will be a political nightmare if it comes out.’” Nevertheless, in early 2022, the CIA working group reported back to Sullivan’s interagency group: “We have a way to blow up the pipelines.”

On January 27, 2022 neocon provocateur Victoria Nuland stated at a U.S. State Department press briefing "one way or another Nord Stream II will not move forward."

What came next was stunning. On February 7, 2022 less than three weeks before the seemingly inevitable Russian invasion of Ukraine, Biden met in his White House office with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who, after some wobbling, was now firmly on the American team. At the press briefing that followed, Biden defiantly said, “If Russia invades . . . there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it.”[228]

Several of those involved in planning the pipeline mission were dismayed by what they viewed as indirect references to the attack. “It was like putting an atomic bomb on the ground in Tokyo and telling the Japanese that we are going to detonate it. The plan was for the options to be executed post invasion and not advertised publicly. Biden simply didn’t get it or ignored it.”

Biden’s and Nuland’s indiscretion, if that is what it was, might have frustrated some of the planners. But it also created an opportunity. According to the source, some of the senior officials of the CIA determined that blowing up the pipeline “no longer could be considered a covert option because the President just announced that we knew how to do it.”

The plan to blow up Nord Stream 1 and 2 was suddenly downgraded from a covert operation requiring that Congress be informed to one that was deemed as a highly classified intelligence operation with U.S. military support. Under the law, the source explained, “There was no longer a legal requirement to report the operation to Congress. All they had to do now is just do it—but it still had to be secret. The Russians have superlative surveillance of the Baltic Sea.”

The Agency working group members had no direct contact with the White House, and were eager to find out if Biden meant what he’d said—that is, if the mission was now a go. The source recalled, “Bill Burns comes back and says, ‘Do it.’”

Former Polish Foreign and Defense Minister and Member of the EU Parliament thanked the United States for the Biden regime's environmental terrorism and Act of War against Russia and the German people.[229]

On September 7, 2022 Russian President Vladimir Putin said the Nord Stream II pipeline could be reopened "tomorrow" to alleviate Europe's impending winter heating fuel crisis.[230]

Air traffic control monitoring of P8 run on the Nordstream pipeline, early morning hours of September 26, 2022.[231]

On September 26, 2022, a NATO P8 surveillance plane made a seemingly routine flight and made a dropped over the pipelines. Three of the four pipelines were put out of commission. Within a few minutes, pools of methane gas that remained in the shuttered pipelines could be seen spreading on the water’s surface and the world learned that something irreversible had taken place. The detachment of US Navy ships led by the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge announced the completion of work in the area of the sabotaged pipelines. US ships in the Baltic Sea and were spotted heading to the Baltic Straits into the North Sea.

Asked at a press conference days later about the consequences of the worsening energy crisis in Western Europe, Blinken called destruction of the pipeline a "tremendous opportunity" for the United States.[232] President Putin said while speaking at Russia Energy Week in Moscow, “Those who benefit the most from the damage caused to the Nord Stream gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea are the ones responsible for it...Everybody understands who is behind this and who is the beneficiary...One can now force the liquefied natural gas from the United States on to European countries on a much larger scale."[233] Politico reported that French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire told the French National Assembly, "We must not allow the conflict in Ukraine to result in American economic domination and a weakening of Europe...We cannot accept that our American partner sells its LNG at four times the price at which it sells it to its own companies."[234]

Victoria Nuland expressed satisfaction at the demise of the pipelines while testifying at a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing in January 2023.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov remarked, “The United States decided that we have been cooperating too well with Germany over the past 20 or 30 years; or rather, the Germans cooperated with us too well...The powerful alliance based on Russian energy resources and German technology began to threaten the monopoly position of many American corporations...So, Washington decided to destroy this alliance between Moscow and Berlin, and did it literally by attacking the pipelines, which were built to deliver Russian gas to Europe through Germany.”

October 2022

In October 2022 the first aerial dogfight between drones was caught on video.[235]

Dirty nuke canisters allegedly fired by Ukrainian forces at Horlivka on October 9, 2022, recovered by Russian forces. Several Russians soldiers were reported to have been hospitalized with symptoms of radiation sickness.

On October 9, 2022, Russian sources reported that Ukraine/NATO used several small scale dirty nukes in the Horlivka region.[236] Some Russian soldiers are reported to have shown symptoms of radiation sickness.[237]

On October 10, 2022, Vladimir Putin sent a warning to the Ukrainian political and military establishment to dispel the thought of continuing terrorist activities against key objects of Russian infrastructure.[238]

In a move to further escalate the conflict, EU foreign ministers assented to start a military training program for 15,000 Ukrainian soldiers at a meeting in Luxembourg on October 14, 2022. In addition to training, it was also promised to create a fund valued at 500 million euros to finance European aid to Ukraine.[239]

On October 11, 2022, NATO boss Jens Stoltenberg told the bloc's defense ministers: “It is important for all of us, that Ukraine wins the battle…Because if Putin wins, that is not only a big defeat for Ukrainians, but it will be a defeat and dangerous for all of us."[240] Russian Security Council deputy chair Dmitry Medvedev responded, “The comment is an open confirmation of NATO’s participation in the war against our country – an unwise, but pure-hearted remark...The honest Norwegian fellow has finally admitted it”.[241]

At the Central Asia Summit in Astana in response to a question from a reporter, "Will Ukraine be able to exist as a state?", President Putin implied that the political objectives originally stated in February 2022 may have changed.[242]

On October 13, 2022, a second group of sabotuers were arrested in Russia for attempting to blow up the pipeline in a second failed attempt.[243]

The Ukrainian government took credit for the terrorist attack and destruction of civilian infrastructure on the Kerch Strait bridge.[244]

Moscow claimed the US is actively waging a hybrid war of terror against its own NATO ally, Turkiye, as evidenced by its role in orchestrating the YPG-PKK's recent terrorist attack in Istanbul, and the second foiled attempt since September using proxies to sabotage the TurkStream pipeline. These asymmetrical acts of aggression were carried out for the purpose of punishing President Erdogan for his rising multipolar independent foreign policy and refusal to participate in sanctions.[245]

On October 16, 2022, NATO/Ukrainian forces attempted their fourth amphibious landing assault across the Dnieper river to attack the Zaporozhye nuclear plant. The Russian army destroyed the Ukrainian landing force, which was trying to carry out the attack on barges and speedboats.[246]

On October 18, 2022, the AFU/NATO launched a US-made High-speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM) and hit the Energia stadium in Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson region, killing two civilians and injuring others.

"The NATO command of the armed forces of Ukraine has long been demanding offensive operations in the Kherson direction from the Kiev regime, regardless of any casualties – both in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and among the civilian population.

We are one people with Ukrainians and only wish for Ukraine to be a state independent from the West and NATO and friendly towards Russia."[247]

Russian simulation of the effects of NATO/Ukraine destruction of the Kakhovka Dam on the city of Kherson (pop. 300,000) with a UK-built underwater drone.[248]

By October 18, 2022, NATO/Ukraine counteroffensive operations in Donbas, Zaporozhye, and Kherson were brought to a halt.[249] The Russian MOD reported the destruction of a Ukrainian government space communications station near the village of Palievka located 20 km from the city of Odessa.

NATO/Ukraine lost another 90 soldiers and 14 boats in another failed amphibious assault on the Zaporozhye power plant with 37 boats. NATO/Ukraine forces struck the city center of Energodar with HIMARS. According to the Russian MOD, all attacks were repelled with large losses on the NATO/Ukraine side.

A Russian computer simulation anticipated the effects of NATO/Ukraine's planned destruction of the Nova Kakhovka dam across the Dnieper river on the city of Kherson and surrounding environs all the way to the river's mouth on the Black Sea. The territory is the home of some 300,000 civilians. The simulation anticipated a rise in the river's level of 1.5 meters, with a cresting wave of 4.5 meters. The water would take at least 3 days to recede during which time the NATO/Ukrainian offensive toward what was formally the city of Kherson would commence.[250]

On October 24, 2022, the Russian Federation called for a meeting of the United Nations Security Council on Ukraine's dirty bomb.[251][252]

Obama defense minister Ashton Carter, who over saw the Maidan coup in 2014 and was an advocate of a first strike on Russia, was found dead on October 25, 2022.

Newsweek reported on October 26, 2022, the USS George H.W. Bush nuclear armed supercarrier battle group was in the Adriatic Sea, that included more than 80 aircraft, 14 ships, and about 6,000 personnel from 24 NATO allies and partners, including Albania, Canada, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkiye, the United Kingdom, the United States, as well as Finland and Sweden, preparing to engage in war with Russia.[253][254] Additionally, it was reported that U.S. officials told NATO allies that an upgraded B61-12 air-dropped gravity bomb initially scheduled to be transported to Europe next Spring, will now arrive in December 2022.[255]

On October 26, 2022, President Putin held a working meeting, via videoconference, with the permanent members of the Security Council of Russia. President Putin noted in that meeting:

"Some countries have long been using the tactics of blackmail, pressure and intimidation throughout the CIS space. In particular, attempts continue to be made to implement ‘color revolution’ scenarios, methods involving nationalism and extremism are employed, and armed conflicts, which directly threaten the security of all CIS members, are being stoked.

After the NATO attack on October 29, 2022, on Sevastopol, Russia retaliated with 40 missile attacks on the power grid. 80% of Kyiv was reported to be without water. Russia also hit the UK command and training center in Ochakov where the terrorist attacks are planned and executed from.

On October 30, 2022, NATO attempted another amphibious landing to take the nuclear power plant. 60 men were killed in the failed attempt.[256]

Ukranska Pravda reported on NATO attack on a Russian airfield near the Latvian border on October 31, 2022, blew up two helicopters.[257]

In March 2022 Russia accused Ukraine of gathering nuclear waste from the Chernobyl disaster site for use in a nuclear dirty bomb.[258]

On October 19, 2022, UK defense minister Ben Wallace flew to Washington, D.C. to discuss an important matter face-to-face with unknown persons that could not be handled over NATO's regular electronic secure communications. Neither Washington nor the UK defense ministry issued a press release on the substance of the discussions. On October 21, Russian defense minister Sergey Shoigu had his first phone call with US defense minister Lloyd Austin since May 2022. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense read out on the call, the two "discussed issues of international security, including the situation in Ukraine."

On October 23, 2022, at 1:30 PM Moscow time it was reported that Russian defense minister Shoigu conveyed to his French counterpart his concerns about possible provocations by Ukraine with the use of a nuclear dirty bomb. At 2:46 PM local time another update from the Russian Ministry of Defense (MOD) reported that defense minister Shoigu conveyed to his Turkish counterpart his concerns about a possible provocation with the use of a dirty bomb. At 5 PM local time there was a third conversation between the Russian defense minister and the minister of defense of the United Kingdom about the possible provocation by Ukraine with a dirty nuclear bomb. At 6:30 PM local time there was a final conversation between Shoigu and the Biden minister defense.

Russian media reported that according to credible sources in various countries - including in Ukraine - the Kyiv regime is preparing a provocation on its territory related to the detonation of the so-called "dirty bomb" or low-yield nuclear weapon. The purpose of the provocation is to accuse Russia of using weapons of mass destruction.[259] According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Volodymyr Zelensky has been in contact with the UK "to obtain nuclear weapons technology," Lieutenant-General Igor Kirillov, Chief of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops of the Russian Armed Forces said on October 23, 2022. Gen. Kirillov alleged that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) plan on using a false flag provocation to detonate a "dirty bomb," a nuclear weapon with explosives, such as dynamite, with radioactive powder or pellets. The provocation was being prepared to subsequently accuse Russia of using weapons of mass destruction. "We have information about the contacts of the office of the President of Ukraine with representatives of Great Britain regarding the possibility to obtain a technology to build nuclear weapons,” Gen. Kirillov said.[260]

Belgorod attacks

On October 17, 2022, Liveuamap.com, a Western source map, colored in the Belgorod Oblast in the Russian Federation to represent it as an active combat zone.

On October 15, 2022, the city of Belgorod in the Russian Federation was attacked with HIMARS, in violation of the supposed agreement the Biden regime imposed on the Kyiv regime as a condition for supplying the weapons. China, Egypt, Serbia, India, Kazakhstan and 7 other nations closed their embassies and called on all their citizens to leave Ukraine immediately.[261] Intensive shelling of the civilian population in Belgorod by NATO/Ukraine forces continued on October 16; Military Watch magazine reported that Russian air defence have "reportedly broken a world record for the longest ranged surface to air kills”.

One of the attacks on the city was carried out by a pair of Ukrainian combat aircraft, an Su-27 and Su-24, which reached the Russian border at an extremely low altitude. Having then gained altitude, they shot at their target in Belgorod; Russian S-300V4 surface to air missile batteries returned fire. Both aircraft were shot down over 217 km away in the Poltava region of Ukraine, surpassing the 150 km range kill previously recorded by a Russian S-400 system against a Ukrainian Su-27 over Kiev in March 2022.

The S-300V4 has access to a range of missiles, including the 40N6 which has a 400 km range and a hypersonic speed exceeding Mach 14 (10k mph+). The missile has double the range of its top Western competitors, and is deployed by both Chinese and Russian S-400 units while also being compatible with the S-300V4. – the report reads. It was for years the world's longest ranged anti-aircraft capable ground launched missile, although new missiles integrated onto the S-500 system surpass it. The kill against an Su-27 reflects Russia's overwhelming superiority in anti-aircraft capabilities, Military Watch concludes. Additionally, Russians forces shot down sixteen NATO/Ukrainian drones over Belgorod. On October 17 Russia responded with a blitz of Geran drone reprisals on Kyiv, Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnitsa, and several other large cities.[262] The Kyiv regime threatened to bomb Moscow or St. Petersburg with a drone that can fly 1000 km and capable of carrying a 75 kg warhead.[263]

On October 19, 2022, NATO/Ukraine forces shelled a kindergarten in Belgorod oblast; on October 20 they shelled a school, a church, and a cultural center;[264] on the October 21 they shelled an orphanage.[265]

101st Airborne

The United States Army 101st Airborne ‘screaming eagles’ were deployed into NATO countries on the western border of Ukraine on June 29, 2022. This was the first deployment of the Army's 101st Airborne Division from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to Europe in 80 years. As noted by base reporting, “Elements of 2nd Brigade Combat Team, and 101st Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 101st Airborne Division, have been assigned to carry out the mission.” Col. John Lubas, deputy commanding officer for operations said, “We’re going to check the Russian influence and we’re going to impact the Russians’ decision-making for probably the next 10–20 years."[266]

CBS News reported on October 21, 2022 that The U.S. Army's 101st Airborne is practicing for war with Russia just miles from Ukraine's border. In all, about 4,700 were deployed. The commanders told CBS News repeatedly that they are "ready to fight tonight," and are fully prepared to cross the border into Ukraine.[267] Romanian citizens do not want NATO troops on their territory.[268]

Romania is about 450 km from Odessa, which is too far for NATO Blackhawk helicopters to make a round trip without mid-air refueling or using a FARP. It is more likely that an Assembly Area would be used near the Romanian city of Huşi. The 101st cannot advance quickly to Odessa from the south, because there are practically no roads, and then Dniester Bay has to be crossed to get to Odessa. The Zakota bridge is the only bridge over that bay, which is right on the coast, within range of Russian missiles, and far from the air defense umbrella in Romania. While possibly an avenue of attack, it would be almost impossible to defend that bridge from Russian cruise missiles. Transnistria, with its Russian base at Tiraspol, is located directly in-between Romania and Odessa.

A key military objective for NATO / 101st Airborne is Tiraspol, the capital of Transnistria. The best bridges over the Dneister on the best-paved route to Odessa from Romania are located at Tiraspol. The 101st's primary objectives are the three bridges over the Dniester. Taking these bridgeheads would allow a larger NATO force to cross over and prepare to occupy Odessa. Without at least one of those three bridges, NATO cannot hold or resupply Odessa. Tiraspol lies within the merest sliver of land between the Ukraine and Moldova, there is no room for strategic withdrawal or even much maneuver. NATO would need to find out how strong the air defenses are around Tiraspol. The mission of the 101st would be to take Tiraspol and neutralize the air defenses first.

November 2022

On November 1, 2022, Russia retaliated with 60 missile attacks.

On November 4, 2022, Ukrainian terrorists blew up a television station in Melitopol.[269]

On November 6, 2022, horrendous losses on both sides were reported at Pavlovka (pop. 5,000). On November 11 the Russians captured the town.[270] 1,400 soldiers and mercenaries of Ukraine were reported as eliminated in Pavlovka on November 14, according to the RF MOD.[271]

On November 7, 2022, the UK Daily Express the USS Rhode Island nuclear armed submarine, equipped with 24 Trident II nuclear missiles, left the Port of Gibraltar on Spain's south and was "reportedly heading towards the Black Sea."[272]

On November 9, 2022, Gen. Sergey Surovikin announced, with the approval of Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, the withdrawal of Russian forces from the west bank of Dnieper river to include the city of Kherson. More than 115,000 civilians had been evacuated from the city and surrounding territories in recent weeks. The general pointed to continued Ukrainian attacks on the Kakhovka hydroelectric dam on the Dnieper river, arguing that it could mean the total devastation of the city and isolation of Russian troops in the region. “If the Kiev regime … launches an even more devastating attack on the Kakhovskaya dam, a flow of water could arise that would flood large areas, causing significant civilian casualties." This, according to the commander, “would create further threats for civilians and risk total isolation of our force grouping on the right bank of the Dnieper.” A pullout would help avoid the worst-case scenario and also keep the combat effectiveness of the force grouping in the area, Surovikin said. "This is a very difficult decision. Yet, we would be able to preserve the most important thing: the lives of our soldiers." Minister Shoigu ordered the general to organize secure relocation for both soldiers and civilians. With the HIMAR systems being under American control,[273] Biden National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan negotiated a deal with his Russian counterparts, Nikolai Patrushev and Yuri Ushakov, to allow for the withdrawal of Russian forces without being fired upon.[274] By November 11, 2022, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the evacuation had been completed successfully.

On November 13, 2022, Independence Day celebrants carried banners with the Nazi black sun used by both World War II Nazis and the Armed Forces of Ukraine n the 21st century. Celebrants chanted, "Down with the Jewish occupation". While counter-protesters were arrested, the pro-NATO regime did nothing against Polish Nazis who were in violation Polish law banning public displays of Nazi symbols.[275]

On November 15, 2022, the Zelensky regime killed two Polish farmers in Poland with a missile launched from an S-300.[276] According to CNN a radar equipped NATO aircraft tracked the deadly missile fired by the Kyiv regime against a NATO member, Poland.

On November 18, Russia hit Ukraine's power grid with 96 missiles, its largest missile strike to date. Russia was supposed to be running out of missiles since April 2022, according to Western media and intelligence sources. Meanwhile, the United States contracted with South Korea for the purchase of 100,000 artillery shells to donate to Ukraine, about a 20 supply at current consumption rates, being the US has depleted its stockpiles. The simple facts are, the equipment NATO sent to Ukraine since February 2022 was never sufficient, and only prolonged the war causing unnecessary deaths, NATO's ability to resupply has shrunken over time, and the material is essentially destroyed by the Russian military as quickly as it has been sent into Ukraine.[277]

On November 19, 2022, the Nazi bigot and holocaust denier, former Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk,[278] was promoted to Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine.[279]

On November 19, 2022, protests erupted in the predominantly Russian city of Odessa, which has been relatively unaffected by the fighting, to protest the Kyiv regime's imposed electrical blackouts.[280] The Kyiv regime is implemented electrical rationing, transferring electrical power from unaffected areas to areas with outages.

On November 19, 2022, the Ukrainian regime ordered an evacuation of Nikolaev.[281]

On November 20, 2022, the Zelensky regime resumed shelling the Zaporozhye nuclear plant, this time hitting a radiation storage facility.[282]

On November 21, 2022, days after the Ukrainian false flag attack on Poland attempting to nudge NATO toward declaring an Article 5 attack on a NATO member by Russia, Zelensky claimed that Russia had fired more than 4,700 missiles since February.[283] This is more than three times what NATO experts and propagandists claimed.

The official NATO Twitter account posted a message comparing the Ukraine conflict to famous fantasy films such as Harry Potter, Star Wars, Braveheart, and more. The tweet read:

"We are Harry Potter and William Wallace, the Na’vi and Han Solo. We’re escaping from Shawshank and blowing up the Death Star. We are fighting with the Harkonnens and challenging Thanos.[284]

All nuclear power plants were taken offline by November 23, 2022, days after Ukraine's false flag attack on Poland to provoke NATO direct involvement under false pretenses.

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov reported the destruction of 200 Nazis, including American and Polish mercenaries on November 23, 2022.

On November 23, 2022, NASAMS failed in Kyiv and hit residential areas, killing civilians.[285]

Odessa lost water supply on November 23, 2022.

On November 24, 2022, it was reported that after the European Union declared the Wagner group a terrorist organization, Wagner PMC founder Evgeny Prigozhin declared the European Parliament dissolved and sent members of parliament a sledgehammer, covered in fake blood, in a violin case, people familiar with the matter said. "Before this procedure enters into legal force, I have been instructed to submit an information case to the European Parliament,” Prigozhin said.[286]

Up to 100 NATO troops were destroyed and 11 armored vehicles on the Seversky-Donets front on November 25, 2022.

On November 25, 2022, the Ukrainians lost 60 troops and 5 armoured vehicles. The AFU 58th Mechanized Brigade refused to fight.

On November 27, 2022, reports indicated that hospitals in Bakhmut were full with over 500 Ukrainian wounded and no chance to evacuate them. AT Chasiv Yar (pop. 12,000) slightly to the west of Bakhmut, the Russians killed 100 NATO forces and destroyed 6 armored vehicles.

Hungarian Nazi war criminal Robert Iosifovich Brovdi (call sign "Magyar") fighting in Ukrainian uniform built illegal chemical weapons delivered by drone.[287]

By the first week of December 2022 Ukraine/NATO was losing approximately a battalion per day in Bakhmut. The head of the Wagner group Yevgeny Prigozhin claimed that the Russians have the task of destroying the Ukrainian army and reducing its combat potential but not storming the city.

On November 28, 2022, Russian troops went back on the offensive in several directions. To the southwest of Lysychansk, the village of Spirne remains one of the heaviest areas of the Donbas front. The Ukrainian command did not abandon its attempts to break through the Russian defenses in order to block the crossing through the Seversky Donets River and surround the city of Severodonetsk from the south. Units of the People's Militia of the LPR broke through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and entered the village of Spirne. A a group of Ukrainian saboteurs comprised of 17 servicemen was destroyed during the Russian assault in the village.

Russia warns the UK government

On November 3, 2022, Russia summoned the British Ambassador to Moscow, Deborah Bronnert, over claims that the UK provided training to Ukrainian forces that attacked Russia's Black Sea Fleet in Crimea. The Russian Foreign Ministry presented the diplomat with a “steadfast protest” and warned her that London’s hostile actions “could lead to unpredictable and dangerous consequences,” according to a statement published on the ministry's website. “If acts of aggression that risk turning [Britain] into a direct party in the conflict continue, the British side will solely bear the responsibility for their negative consequences and the increase in tensions between our countries,” the ministry said.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Ukrainian Navy conducted dives and a target detonation exercise in the Black Sea and on the shore near the cities of Odessa, Nikolayev, as well as Ochakov with the help of British experts. The Ambassador received a vehement complaint over the British military specialists' active involvement in training and supplying the units of the Ukrainian special operations forces, especially with the intention of carrying out acts of sabotage at sea. The demarche highlighted how such aggressive behavior by the British raises the possibility of an escalation and might have unforeseen and catastrophic results.

According to the ministry, “An agreement was reached in September 2020 between London and Kyiv to expand the British instructors’ training programme for Ukrainian military divers.” Further, it stated that the Naval Training Initiative for the Ukrainian Navy, which includes combat swimmer training programs, was put into action by the parties in late 2020.

Ministry underlined that the Joint Multinational Training Group - Ukraine initiative significantly strengthens naval cooperation between the United Kingdom and Ukraine. This work is done at a different Ataman Golovaty Special Operations Center "South" of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces in the city of Ochakov, Nikolayev region, and it contains training underwater special operations personnel for carrying out operations in the Black Sea and Azov Sea.

Special operations divers are being trained in a military diving school in Odessa, which is a part of the 198th training facility for the Ukrainian Navy, Military Unit A3163, Nikolayev. This training includes deep-sea subversive techniques, among other things. The minesweeper personnel that was sent to Ukraine were taught by the British in the months of August 2022 and September, the ministry reported.[288]

US efforts to save face

The van noted, "the esteem, power and global standing of those who have spent so long creating this war will also fall; a decades-long Western project gone wrong will see the West going wrong for decades to come."[289]

On November 14, 2022, Ukrainian sources leaked a story claiming that Biden regime CIA director William Burns and Russian FSB head Sergey Naryshkin allegedly were meeting privately in Ankara, Turkiye.[290] TASS reported that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed the reports, saying “Such negotiations really took place. It was the initiative of the American side.”

On November 17, 2022, U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley urged the Zelensky regime to negotiate a peace settlement with Russia, saying the probabilities of a Ukrainian victory is "unlikely".[291]

On November 20, 2022, Tass quoted Russian national security council deputy chair Dmitry Medvedev saying, “The United States, NATO and the European Union are unwilling to eventually break up with Russia, which is fraught with World War III...Hence the increasingly frequent attempts to circumscribe and talk sense into Kiev, and to push it out to enter into negotiations...Nevertheless, Zelensky does not want any negotiations for quite obvious selfish reasons...Moreover, negotiations are very dangerous for him...After all, unless he acknowledges the realities of Ukraine’s break-up, it makes no sense to sit down at the negotiating table...Once he admits it, he will be bumped off by his own nationalists who are connected with the army top brass, and of whom he is scared out of his wits”.[292]

Ukraine missile attack on Poland

The globalist mouthpiece Financial Times of London, which led the world in spreading Russophobia and cheerleading for war, openly criticized Zelensky's lying about Ukraine's false flag attack on a NATO ally to incite direct NATO involvement with troops and risk global thermonuclear war.[293]

On November 15, 2022, two Ukrainian S-300 missiles, alleged to have been launched to shoot down a Russian cruise missile, were fired westward and hit a Polish grain storage facility, killing two civilians. The Polish government, Ukrainian government, the Associated Press,[294] most of all Western propaganda media and so-called national security and intelligence experts called for invoking NATO Article 5.[295] Zelensky advisor Mykhailo Podolyak declared that the strikes came from Russia. Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba claimed Russian denials were a conspiracy theory and that “No one should buy Russian propaganda or amplify its messages."[296] Ukrainian dictator Volodymyr Zelensky on a video call to G20 summit leaders meeting in Indonesia told them that the attack was deliberate by Russia and that the missiles were a “true statement brought by Russia for the G20 summit.”[297] Zelensky tweeted to the world that the “Russian attack on collective security in the Euro-Atlantic is a significant escalation” of the conflict.[298]

However an AWAC radar plane and other ISR aircraft (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) regularly flying in the region, and ground radar, tracked the missiles' trajectory and determined the Kyiv regime had launched the missiles. That did not prevent an anonymous "senior U.S. intelligence official" from reporting to the Associated Press that Russia had fired the missiles at Poland.[299] The fake news story was disseminated globally, as all fake news stories emanating from Kyiv, and its CIA counterparts in Kyiv, have been disseminated globally to world media for the entirety of 2022 and late 2021.

When called out on the lies, Ukrainian dictator Volodymyr Zelensky doubled down. Both socialist premier Joe Biden and NATO chief warlord Jens Stoltenberg blamed Ukraine for the attack. Zelensky refuted the Western leaders' statements that the missile which killed two innocent civilians in Poland was Ukrainian. "I have no doubt that it was not our missile or our missile strike."[300] Zelensky insisted that he received reports from the corrupt Armed Forces of Ukraine command that told him "the missile attacks did not come from Ukraine", he told the people in a live nationwide address on Ukrainian state-controlled media.[301] The Russophobic Financial Times of London quoted a diplomat from a NATO country in Kyiv saying: “This is getting ridiculous. The Ukrainians are destroying [our] confidence in them. Nobody is blaming Ukraine and they are openly lying. This is more destructive than the missile.”[302]

December 2022

By December 2022 in the first year of Russia's Special Military Operation, Ukraine had lost 250,000 soldiers killed and wounded - more than the size of the army Ukraine started began the conflict with in late February 2022. The only thing keeping the bankrupt Zelensky regime in the fight was American aid, with marginal aid supplied by the European vassal states.

By December 2022, NATO-backed Ukraine forces had killed 10,000 residents of Donbas since 2014 - 6,000 members of Donbas militias and 4,000 civilians while taking on 4,000 casualties.

By the first week of December 2022 Ukraine/NATO was losing approximately a battalion per day in Bakhmut. The head of the Wagner group Yevgeny Prigozhin claimed that the Russians have the task of destroying the Ukrainian army and reducing its combat potential but not storming the city.

On December 11, 2022, the Russians reported 80 civilians had been killed in Donetsk and about 200 injured over the previous week by NATO/Ukraine shelling, including the use of HIMARS. More than 4,000 civilians of all ages and sexes in Dontesk city have been killed by Ukrainian shelling since February 2022.

On December 16, 2022, the Russian MOD reported, "Russian Armed Forces dealt a massive strike with high-precision long-range air and sea-based weapon on Ukrainian military command and control systems, the military-industrial complex and the energy facilities of Ukraine that provide them...It is specified that all assigned objects were hit...Thanks to this massive strike, the Russian military disrupted the transfer of foreign weapons and ammunition and prevented Ukrainian reserves from moving into the combat areas...In addition, they stopped the work of the enemy's defense enterprises.” Ukrainian prime minister Denis Smyhal told the cabinet, “To get through the winter we need about 17,000 large industrial-sized power plants”.[303]

A survey of obituaries in late December 2022 found the average age of reported deaths of Ukrainian soldiers was 40 years old.

On December 18, 2022, Mariinka to the southwest of the city of Donetsk fell to the Russians. Marriinka lies on front line between Ugledar to the south and Avdiivka to the northwest of the city of Donetsk, and has been an AFU stronghold since 2014 which the Kyiv regime has used for artillery shelling the civilians of Donetsk. Russia's new main battle tank, the T-90, started seeing action on the Donbas front.

On December 21, 2022, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham publicly called for the assassination of President Putin.[304]

On December 27, 2022, Foreign Minister Lavrov told Tass,

"some unnamed officials from the Pentagon actually threatened to conduct a ‘decapitating strike’ on the Kremlin… What we are talking about is the threat of the physical elimination of the head of the Russian state. If such ideas are actually being nourished by someone, this someone should think very carefully about the possible consequences of such plans."[305]

NATO drone attacks on strategic nuclear facilities in Russian territory

December 5, 2022 UAV attack on Engels and Ryazan.[306]

On December 5 and 6, 2022 the Kiev regime carried out three drone strikes against airfields deep inside Russian territory “slightly” damaging two of its target's strategic aviation assets according to Moscow's Ministry of Defense (MOD) and hitting a fuel tank. Strategic airfields in Ryazan and Samara Regions were hit, and a fuel tank near Kursk.

On the morning of December 5, Soviet-made Ukrainian UAVs attempted to hit at the Diaghilev military airfields in the Ryazan region and Engels airfield in the Saratov region. The UAVs flew at low altitude. As a result of the explosion of the wreckage, the hull plating of two long range aircraft was slightly damaged. Three Russian servicemen were killed. Four others were wounded.

On December 6, the Ukrainian military continued its attacks on Russian airfields. For the fourth time since the beginning of special operation, a UAV attacked Russian airfield in Kursk. As a result of the attack, the oil storage tank caught fire. Another target was the Belbek airfield in Sevastopol; but the attack failed and all the drones were intercepted by Russian air defenses.

The Soviet-era UAVs were modified and upgraded by NATO with the assistance of Raytheon. "The Kharkov Aviation Plant carried out work to modernize the mentioned UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) with the participation of specialists from the Kiev Design Bureau Luch and US corporation Raytheon Technologies...The range of this drone is up to 1000 kilometers...The aforementioned Tu-141 Strizh UAVs are aimed at the target using US global satellite system GPS...By the way, the United States and its allies have long been actively using various space systems for reconnaissance and information support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), including for the purpose of discovering places of deployment, routes of movement and actions of Russian troops...It is well known that the overwhelming majority of targets targeted by neo-Nazis are determined by the Western masters of the Kiev regime," said Russian arms negotiator Konstantin Gavrilov.

A second attack occurred on Engels Airbase in the early morning hours of December 26, 2022. The Tu-143 Soviet jet-powered drones used to strike the Russian strategic nuclear bases of Ryazan and Engels Airbase were proven by Russian investigators to have been modified with the technical help of U.S. engineers in the guidance system (adding GPS ability, etc). The Russians responded by suspending the START III treaty.

Targeted assassination attempt on former Russian Ambassador to NATO

Dmitry Rogozin is the former Russian Ambassador to NATO, deputy prime minister in charge of the defense industry, and head of the Russian space agency Roskosmos.[307] In early 2022, along with dozens of Russian officials, he volunteered to join the Russian intervention in the Ukrainian civil conflict. He has since led the “Tsar Wolves”, a volunteer unit which consists of experienced military advisers and experts with rich combat experience. Its main task is military-technical support for the military units of the DPR and LPR.

Rogozin was gravely wounded in Donetsk on December 21, 2022, in a salvo of precision artillery strikes by the Kiev regime, an obvious targeted assassination attack, on the hotel where he was briefly staying, in the midst of a dinner celebrating his 59th birthday. The strike also killed two friends and colleagues, with several others wounded, including the prime minister of the Donetsk People's Republic, Vitaly Khotsenko.

The former space boss suffered a concussion and was wounded in the right shoulder with shrapnel which landed “a millimeter” away from his spine. The shrapnel removed from his back in a delicate operation by surgeons proved to be from a NATO 155mm shell fired from a French Caesar Howitzer.

Rogozin later sent a letter along with the shrapnel fragment removed from his own spine to the French envoy Pierre Levy in Moscow, to be passed on to the French President Emmanuel Macron. He also posted the contents of the message to Macron on social media. It reads,

TO THE AMBASSADOR EXTRAORDINARY AND PLENIPOTENTIARY OF THE FRENCH REPUBLIC. Mr PIERRE LEVY,

Your Excellency Mr. Ambassador!

I recall with pleasure my conversations with you on joint trips to the Borodino field and Baikonur. At that time we discussed a lot and often the prospects for Russian-French political and economic cooperation.

Unfortunately, the position of your country and the NATO countries on growing a military threat to Russia near our borders has led to a tragic denouement. The words and deeds of France miraculously diverged diametrically. Official Paris betrayed the cause of the great de Gaulle and became one of the most bloodthirsty states in Europe. Your country has submitted to the dictates of Washington and has become a puppet state in the style of the Vichy government, serving the basest instincts of the Nazis. I am writing about this with pain, because I have always loved French history, I know the language and culture of France, and I honor the memory of the glorious deeds when the Russians and the French fought together against common threats.

Recently, as a result of a vile terrorist act in Donetsk, I was seriously injured. It is only thanks to the great skill and patience of Russian military and civilian doctors that I am alive and almost healthy again. In this envelope, along with my letter, you see a fragment from a shell fired by the French 155-mm Caesar self-propelled artillery mount. It pierced my right shoulder and stuck in the fifth cervical vertebrae, just a millimeter away from killing me or rendering me immobile. This French howitzer shell killed two of my young friends, leaving their wives as widows and their children as orphans. These guys accompanied us on a trip to Baikonur, you shook hands with them. Now they are killed by weapons supplied to Ukraine by your country. You probably know how many civilians were killed in Donetsk and the front-line cities of Novorossia by French weapons and French mercenaries. There are hundreds of people, including children.

Mr. Ambassador, what is France doing, what are you doing in the conflict that Western politicians have kindled between the Slavic peoples? I hope you understand the measure of your personal responsibility for these murders! You are the extraordinary and plenipotentiary representative of the Fifth Republic, and you are responsible. And I ask you to hand over the fragment cut by surgeons from my spine to French President Emmanuel Macron. And also tell him that no one will escape responsibility for the war crimes of France, the US, Britain, Germany and other NATO countries in the Donbass. All our victims are on your conscience, as well as the appearance of fascist Ukraine on the map of Europe is also on your conscience.

Accept, Mr. Ambassador, the assurances of my respect for your diplomatic status, but I am afraid that your mission has completely failed.

The French foreign ministry had no comment on the letter and returned the shell fragment.

Rogozin vowed to return to the frontline as soon as his injuries allowed.

Red lines crossed

Russian First Deputy Permanent Representative Dmitry Polyansky to the United Nations stated on December 24, 2023, “A hybrid war is being waged against our country...Reflections about red lines are now in the past...The United States has unequivocally declared its intention to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia...It is impossible not to notice this reality.”[308]

Putin scheduled a big State of the Nation address on February 21, 2023, which fell precisely on the anniversary of his pivotal February 21, 2022 speech where he first announced the recognition of LPR/DPR’s independence, leading the way to the big February 24, 2022 speech which announced the actual full military launch of the SMO invasion.

Conversely, Biden flew into Poland on February 20, 2023 and on to Kiev by rail to meet Zelensky, and Biden & Zelensky made a joint address on February 21. The timing was climactic and intriguing. Biden being literally right next door on the day of a massive offensive launch seemed pre-calculated for escalation.

January 2023

In January 2023 US dictator Joe Biden announced that the United States would send 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine after previously warning in March 2022 that such a move would trigger “World War III.”[309]

In January 2023 the Polish Ministry of Defense reported 15,900 professional soldiers resigned from the Army and Polish Territorial Defense in 2022 to join the NATO mercenary force in Ukraine. This compares with 6,000 resignations the previous year of 2021.[310]

Polish prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki expressed outraged and indignation at the Ukrainian parliament's commemoration of World War II Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera's birthday on January 1, 2023. Bandera is considered in Ukraine to be a national hero and the father of the nation.[311] Bandera founded the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) which was responsible for the genocide of well over 100,000 Poles and Jews in Volhynia, a territory that was part of Poland prior to World War II. After the Teheran, Yalta and Potsdam Conferences, the territory was annexed into the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic by Soviet premier Joseph Stalin. The annexation was assented to by Winston Churchill, Franklin Roosevelt and Harry Truman without a referendum on self-determination. Polish historians refer to this episode of World War II history, which has been suppressed in the West, as the Western betrayal. Allegedly, according to Franklin Roosevelt and Winston Churchill, the principal aim of the Angelo-American powers in World War II as annotated in the Atlantic Charter was the right of self-determination of peoples.

Southfront reported that Wagner group fighters claimed the AFU were using unidentified chemical weapons in an attempt to stop Russian advance on the street of Trudovye Rezervy in Bakhmut on January 7, 2023. As a result of the attack, Russian soldiers got severe burns. They were evacuated from the battlefield and hospitalized. Videos distributed by Ukrainian sources confirmed that the AFU did use chemical weapons. Ukrainian militants boasted of making “dirty bombs” on the social networks. In one video,[312] Ukrainians are assembling kamikaze drones aimed at dropping homemade ammunition. The shells were made of small homemade cylinders filled with some kind of chemical substance. This is indicated by the weight of the contents which are different and average 700 grams. The shown head fuses also do not look like detonation devices but are more like devices aimed at mixing or spraying chemicals.

The cylinders were likely filled with hydrocyanic acid (HCN), which is a poisonous volatile liquid. 85-90% of poisoning cases end in death. The concentration of HCN of more than 0.4 mg/l causes deadly poisoning. If the concentration of the substance in the air exceeds 11 mg / l, then intoxication is possible even percutaneously. The Russian Embassy in the UK identified the illegal toxic munitions as possibly phosgene, prohibited by the United Nations Chemical Weapons Convention.[313] The letters “OB” as seen in the video stand for toxic munition. This also explains why the gas cylinders need to be stored in the refrigerator.

On January 8, 2023 Russian forces cut the highway between Bakhmut and Soledar and the highway between Bakhmut and Siversk. Tactical encirclement of the remaining troops in Soledar was completed on January 9, 2023. On January 10 the Wagner group media announced the capture of Soledar; Yevgeny Prigozhin, founder and head of the Wagner group, personally took part in the campaign and was present on the battlefield. According to Ukrainian sources, Ukraine lost 17 battalions, roughly 23,000 soldiers, in the Battle of Soledar. Most of the captured POWs were from the elite 77th Airborne Brigade of the AFU, trained in the UK in late fall 2022. On January 12, at least 200 Ukrainian soldiers were reported to be hiding in the underground salt mine tunnels, along with large stockpiles of ammunition. Salt Mine No. 7 was rumored to have a tunnel that extended all the way south to Bakhmut. Salt Mine 7 was captured by Wagner fighters by January 16, 2023. Russian forces rapidly moved on in the Seversk direction.

On January 12, 2023, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said the appointment of chief-of-staff Gen. Valery Gerasimov as commander of the Russian group of forces in Ukraine is related to the broader scope of objectives in the special military operation. "It is linked with the expansion of the scope of objectives that will be addressed. I have nothing to add to this."

On January 15, 2023 the Russian Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine warned about another planned false flag provocation. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) mined a granary in the east of the country in an attempt to accuse Moscow of “provoking hunger” and “disrupting” the grain export deal from Ukrainian ports. The explosion should be staged in the city of Karaichnoye, Kharkiv region. A group of up to 30 SBU officers and mine-blasting specialists headed by Mr. Tkachuk arrived in Volchansk. The granary in question is owned by an employee of the SBU, Mr. Uvarov.

On January 17, 2023, Moonofalabama reported counting 27 brigade size formations of Ukrainian forces in the Bakhmut area. Those forces would constitute 50% of Ukraine's battle ready forces.[314] On January 20 Big Serge stated that "publicly available Ukrainian sources locate at least 34 brigade or equivalent units that have been deployed in the Bakhmut area. Many of these were deployed months ago and are already shattered, but over the full span of the ongoing battle this represents an astonishing commitment."[315] Moonofalabama reported "The stocks of two complete armies have by now been destroyed in Ukraine. The resources for a smaller third one will be delivered in the next rounds of 'western' equipment deliveries during the next months. Russia will dully destroy Ukraine's third army just as it has destroyed the first and second one. It is doubtful that the 'West' has enough material left to provide Ukraine with a fourth one."[316] On January 23, 2023, European Council president Charles Michel said in an interview with the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, "The next weeks, two or three, are decisive...What happens in 2023 – and much of it depends on the coming weeks – is what will define our future...We have to stand with Ukraine and give them all the support they need...We cannot fail them."[317]

On January 20, 2023, the Russians made an assault all along the Zaporozhye line.

Senior advisor to Volodymyr Zelensky, Alexei Arestovich, in drag here as "Lyusya".[318]

Alexiy Arestovich, who was commonly known as 'the Baghdad Bob' of Kyiv, gave daily press briefings on the war and whose facts were indiscriminately accepted at face value and repeated wholesale as the gospel by Western media throughout the planet. Arestovich has been described by his critics as a "psychopath, gay, egocentric and drug addict Zelensky adviser."[319] Here is a small sampling of some of his press pronouncements. Arestovich was fired January 18, 2023 by Ukrainian dictator Volodymyr Zelensky for reporting the truth about Ukrainian missile defense systems installed in residential areas, in violation of international humanitarian law in the rules of war, that subsequently makes a residential area a legitimate military target and results in the death of civilians.[320][321][322] Arestovich was subsequently added to the Myrotvorets kill list.[323]

German foreign minister Annalena Baerbock declared that Germany and the European Union were at war with Russia during a debate at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on January 24, 2023.[324]

Germany's decision to send Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine is extremely dangerous and takes the conflict to a new level of confrontation, the Russian Embassy in Berlin said on January 25, 2023. The embassy said Germany was abandoning its “historical responsibility to Russia” arising from Nazi war crimes in World War Two. The embassy said that the decision would escalate the conflict to a new level. “This extremely dangerous decision takes the conflict to a new level of confrontation and contradicts the statements of German politicians about the unwillingness of the Federal Republic of Germany to be drawn into it,” Ambassador Sergey Nechayev said.[325]

On January 25, 2023 Konstantin Gavrilov, the head of the Russian delegation to the Vienna Negotiations on Military Security and Arms Control, warned: “We know that Leopard 2 tanks, as well as Bradley and Marder armored fighting vehicles, can use depleted uranium shells, which can contaminate terrain, just like it happened in Yugoslavia and Iraq...If Kiev were to be supplied with such munitions for the use in western heavy military hardware, we would regard it as the use of ‘dirty nuclear bombs’ against Russia, with all the consequences that entails.”

Approximately 202,000 Ukrainian men received draft notices in roughly the first 26 days of January 2023 in the Zelensky regime's ninth mobilization. Of 202,000 who received notices, 113,000 did not show up. Of the 89,000 who showed up, 7,000 still were rejected for various reasons. Thus, 82,000 were sent to training, or 40.6 percent of all who received draft notices.

By January 27, 2023 Russian forces had entered portions of Ugledar.

The Great Purge

In mid-January 2023 CIA director William Burns travelled to Kyiv for a secret meeting with Ukrainian dictator Vladimir Zelensky.[326] Prior to Burns arrival, the SBU and Department of the Interior had already put a bullet in the back of the head of Zelensky’s top negotiator with Russia, Denys Kiryeyev. Shortly after Dir. Burns left Kyiv, on the morning of January 18, 2023 a helicopter crashed in the town of Brovary in the eastern outskirts of Kiev region, killing the entire leadership of the Department of the Interior. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, killed in the crash were Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky; First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Enin; State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yuriy Lubkovich; Deputy Head of the Patronage Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Tatiana Shutyak; Head of the Department of Protection of the Department of Internal Security of the National Police of Ukraine, Colonel Mikhail Pavlushko; Lead Inspector of the Department of Communications Nikolay Anatsky; Senior Operative of the Department of Internal Security of the Police of Ukraine Andriy Marinchenko; helicopter commander Alexander Vasilenko; pilot Konstantin Kovalenko; and on-board mechanic Ivan Kasyanov.[327] The helicopter was a French built Eurocopter EC225 LP Super Puma or its equivalent. Witnesses said that the helicopter was spinning and burning in the air before crashing into a kindergarten.[328]

According to Hacker DPR Joker:

Kyrylo Budanov.[329]
"The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine had long been aware that the leadership of the Ministry of Defense was trading Western arms, which came to Ukraine in the form of aid, for the benefit of third countries, and that this process was overseen directly by the head of the GUR, Budanov. By the way, this information has already surfaced somewhere.

The leadership of the Interior Ministry wanted their share and began collecting data through their structural units, which are associated with intelligence and surveillance. As a result, they managed to obtain evidence and began blackmailing. The military bosses promised a share to the police leadership, and the first tranche was paid. But it was pointless and unprofitable to pay any further.

In addition, the insolence of the minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who had his head in the wrong place, was putting the military leadership under strain. And now the day had come when the kids from the GUR were able to demonstrate their skills. But that is not all. The sanction for this was given personally by Yermak, who is also in on the secret from the supreme narcissistic clown, Zelensky.[330]

Money that had been sent by the U.S. Congress to prepare defensive lines on the front against an onslaught of newly mobilized Russian forces disappeared in mass corruption schemes. Subcontractors sold food and supplies to the Armed Forces of Ukraine at inflated prices while politicians received kickbacks.[331] Officials were not arrested, but rather allowed to flee the country with their looted millions after which their "resignation" was announced.

On February 26, 2023 it was reported that Zelensky fired Major General Eduard Moskalyov, Commander Joint Forces of Ukraine with no reason given.[332] Moskalyov was said to be the fall guy for Zelensky's disastrous leadership and decision to keep feeding human lives into the Bakhmut meatgrinder when he knew all was lost.

Nuclear plants as ammo dumps

Russian SVR director Sergey Naryshkin stated in January 2023,

"There is credible information that Ukrainian troops are stockpiling the Western-supplied weapons and ammunition on the territory of nuclear power plants...Several cars loaded with lethal cargo were delivered by rail to the Rovno Nuclear Power Plant in western Ukraine during the last week of December [2022] alone...They rely on the calculation that the Russian Armed Forces would not strike nuclear power plants because they realize the danger of a nuclear disaster...And if another Ukrainian anti-air missile ‘veers off course’, causing large-scale detonation of the stockpiles and the destruction of the nuclear power plant, the tragedy could always be blamed on Moscow."[333]

NATO Nazism

Grafetti from within the Azovstal steel plant, the last hold out of the NATO-backed neo-Nazi Azov Battalion.[334]

In January 2023, after pressure from the United States, Germany agreed to send 14 Leopard 2[335] and 88 Leopard 1[336] tanks to Ukraine. 14/88, according to the Anti-Defamation League is the combination of two popular white supremacist numeric symbols. The first symbol is 14, which is shorthand for the 14 word slogan, "We must secure the existence of our people and the future for white children." The second is 88, which stands for "Heil Hitler," "H" being the eighth letter of the alphabet. Together the numbers form a general endorsement of white supremacy and its beliefs. As such, they are ubiquitous within the white supremacist movement as graffiti, graphics, and tattoos, even in screen names and email addresses, and now in the quantities of tanks Germany is sending to Ukraine.[337]

The Federal Republic of Germany, the successor regime of Nazi Germany, is sending 14 and 88 of two different models of its Leopard tank to Ukraine. Ukraine's military, which includes a significant component of actual Nazis will use the tanks on the battlefield against Russia. Analysts noted that the NATO powers understand full well the significance of 1488, and Germany even has laws against open display of any sort of Nazi symbols.[338] NATO could have added or subtracted one tank. For this reason, Russia is unlikely to negotiate with the current Western leadership or stop its special operation until its Denazification process is completed.[339]

February 2023

On February 5, 2023 Business Insider reported NATO Supreme Allied Commander of Europe, General Cavoli saying the losses in Ukraine are 'out of proportion' to what NATO had been planning for,[340]

"The magnitude of this war is incredible. The Ukrainians have 37 frontline brigades, plus dozens more territorial brigades. The Russians have lost almost 2,000 tanks. If we average out since the beginning of the war, the slow days and fast days, the Russians have expended on average well over 20,000 artillery rounds per day. The scale of this war is out of proportion with all of our recent thinking."[341]

Polish prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki speaking at the Warsaw Permanent Working Review Conference for Ukrainian Support on February 5, 2023 said, "Poland is ready to take responsibility for shaping the New World Order."[342]

Bakhmut encirclement, March 11, 2023.

The estimated life expectancy of a Ukrainian soldier deployed in Bakhmut according to some sources was 4 hours. On February 6, 2023 Ukrainian Nazis were reported to have used chemical weapons, which they openly boasted about on social networks. The infamous Ukrainian blogger and commander of a separate tactical air reconnaissance group Madyar published a new video showing FPV drones and chemical munitions, hinting that the Ukrainian military are preparing to use prohibited weapons in Bakhmut. On the evening of February 5, 2023 the first use of this chemical weapon was reported in the village of Novobakhmutovka on the outskirts of Donetsk. Russian servicemen suffered vomiting and convulsions.[343][344] The claims were supported by photos of crashed drones identical to those that Magyar boasted about in a video uploaded to the internet.[345]

On February 9, 2023 the Washington Post published a report claiming that the Kiev regime forces “never launch HIMARS rounds without detailed coordinates provided by US military personnel situated elsewhere in Europe”.[346]

The Zatoka bridge was hit again on February 9, 2023.

Poland closed its border with Belarus on February 9, 2023.[347]

Other than economic sanctions and a propaganda information war, under chief warlord Jens Stoltenberg's leadership NATO embarked on its aggressive actions toward Russia with no clear conventional arms strategy. At a meeting of the anti-Russian alliance’s Defense Ministers in February 2023, Stoltenberg said the following:

"The war in Ukraine is consuming an enormous amount of munitions, and depleting Allied stockpiles. The current rate of Ukraine’s ammunition expenditure is many times higher than our current rate of production. This puts our defence industries under strain. For example, the waiting time for large-calibre ammunition has increased from 12 to 28 months."[348]

In February 2023 the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) stated: “NATO member states have provided Kiev with scores of heavy weapons since December 2021, including 440 tanks and 1,510 infantry fighting vehicles...Ukraine has also received 1,170 anti-air and 655 artillery systems, as well as 9,800 rockets for mobile multiple rocket launchers...Most of the military equipment supplied by the West has been destroyed by the Russian forces.” According to the Pentagon, the US provided Ukraine with more than $27.4 billion in security aid between February 24, 2022 and January 20, 2023.

Inspector of the German Ground Forces Lieutenant-General Alfons Mais warned NATO at the same time, “Russian resources, like the resources of the Russian army, are practically inexhaustible...Many underestimate the Russian Armed Forces...This cannot be done…Russian troops demonstrate good training...They have an impressive technical arsenal, combat-ready personnel.”[349]

Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov on February 10, 2023 told RT, "There is no turning back to the Western-centric globalization model, which failed to ensure lasting stability and sustainable development." On February 16, 2023 Russian Special Envoy for Issues of Environmental Activities, Ecology and Transport Sergei Ivanov told TASS in relation to the US/NATO Nordstream terror attack, "They just pretend that nothing happened, that there were no explosions, and that they had nothing to do with it together with the Norwegians, leading to the conclusion that not only the collective West's word cannot be trusted in general, but also its written commitments.”[350]

By February 16, 2023 reports appeared that the Russian Federation had prepared 1,800 tanks, 3,950 armored vehicles, 2,700 artillery systems, 810 Soviet-era self-propelled guns, such as Grad and Smerch, 400 fighter jets, and 300 helicopters for the upcoming massive attack on Ukraine.

On February 19, 2023 a sudden orchestrated series of announcements that newly-elected Moldovan president after the country’s entire government collapsed in late 2022 is now pressing for the expulsion of Russian forces from ‘its territory’, and the complete ‘demilitarization’ of Transnistria. Newly appointed Prime Minister Dorin Rechan said that Russian troops should leave Transnistria, the region itself should be demilitarized, and its population should be economically and socially integrated, which means the deployment of the Moldovan military there. Then this sudden announcement: "The Ministry of Defense of Moldova from February 21 to 23 will hold tactical exercises at the northern training ground of the country, the military will practice shooting skills at night and daytime, the ministry said." Once again there were rumblings about Ukraine’s flagging ammunition supplies, and how that might spur them to seek a desperate requisition of the ammo in Russia’s Transnistrian garrison, which is a notoriously enormous depot known as Europe’s largest ammo dump.[351]

On February 20, 2023 head of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin reported that the mutilated bodies of Polish mercenaries were found by Russian forces with their heads and hands cut off to thwart identification.[352][353]

On February 21, 2023 Joe Biden returned to the scene of the Obama administration's crime 9 years earlier in Kyiv with Maidan putsch. Biden had to ask Russia first for permission to travel to Kyiv.[354]

On February 22, 2023 reports indicated that Ukrainian troops were amassing on the border between the Odessa region and Transnistria. Mass movements of the Ukrainian military in the immediate vicinity of the border were also confirmed by resources in Tiraspol, capital of Transnistria. Large forces accumulated along the Kirovograd highway a few kilometers from the Platonovo checkpoint. The number of military personnel increased at all checkpoints in the region. Some special operations forces from the Bakhmut and Donetsk frontlines were reportedly transferred there. There is a giant ammunition depot in the village of Kolbasna. The seizure of warehouses would allow the Ukrainian military to replenish the emptied depots with ammunition for Soviet-made systems. The warehouses in Transnistria are under the control of the Operational Group of Russian troops, which numbers about 10,000-15,000 servicemen.[355]

On February 24, 2023 the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Ukrainians lost 15 armored vehicles including 2 tanks. On February 25 the Ukrainians lost 3 armored vehicles. On February 26 the Ukrainian's lost 6 armored vehicles. On February 27 the Ukrainians lost 11 armored vehicles including 2 tanks. On February 28 Ukrainian forces lost 350 fighters and 16 armored vehicles. On March 1, 2023 the MOD reported 190 Ukrainian troops killed, and loss of 18 armored and 16 light vehicles.

By February 24, 2023, the anniversary of the incursion into Ukraine, not only did Russia withstand the economic assault, but the sanctions boomeranged — hitting the very countries that imposed them.[356] Joe Biden predicted that the U.S. would see that “the ruble will be reduced to rubble.” And that “the most stringent sanctions regime in history” was going to “weaken” Russia, perhaps even leading to Putin’s overthrow. In 2022 the ruble reached its highest exchange rate in history. Russia’s 2022 trade surplus of $227 billion was up 86 percent from 2021. The U.S.’ trade deficit over the same period rose 12.2 percent, and is approaching $1 trillion..[357]

In a two hour telephone conversation in late February 2023, Biden attempted to cajole President Xi Jinping to help end the war that the United States instigated by sanctioning Russia. New York Times diplomatic correspondent Edward Wong reported, "Xi didn't suggest a role China could play in ending the war…And he used a favorite phrase of his to cast blame on the US: 'Let he who tied the bell on the tiger’s neck take it off?'.”[358]

On February 26, 2023 NATO began testing the Russian Federations' air defense system with a series of drone attacks across Russia.

On February 26, 2023 Joe Biden invoked waivers for electronics, kinetic capabilities, castings and forgings, minerals and materials, and power and energy storage of the Defense Production Act of 1950.[359]

In the month of February 2023 the Ukrainians lost about 11,000 men in Bakhmut.[360]

Withdrawal from START

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov gave an extended interview to Izvestia that was published on February 28, 2023.[361] The main points regarding START Peskov stressed were:[362]

  • Russia won’t return to the new START treaty under present conditions, namely the US-led NATO ending its proxy war on Russia through Ukraine as well as the bloc’s nuclear-armed British and French members joining this arms control pact, too.
  • Moscow demands that NATO’s nuclear-armed British and French members join the New START because the bloc is in a de facto state of war with Russia as a result of its direct participation in the Ukrainian conflict by arming Kiev, which can no longer be denied.
  • The West refused to negotiate with Russia prior to its Special Operation. Russia put forth security guarantee requests in the run-up to what would ultimately become its special operation in order to peacefully resolve its security dilemma with the West, but the latter refused to seriously negotiate and thus left Moscow no choice but to act.
  • Macron hasn’t yet called Putin despite publicly saying on five or six occasions that he would, though Peskov preemptively ruled out the possibility of him mediating even if he already does since his country isn’t neutral in this conflict.

Belarusian neo-Nazis

The United States and NATO support the Belarussian neo-Nazi movement.[363][364] Belarussian neo-Nazis have flooded into Ukraine as NATO-backed mercenaries.

In late February 2023, NED and NATO-supported anti-government activists claimed responsibility for an attack on a Russian Beriev A-50 AEW&C (Airborne Early Warning and Control System) aircraft at the Machulishchy military airfield 12 km or 7.5 miles from the capital Minsk. In early March 2023 President Lukashenko announced the detention of the terror suspect, a native of Kryvyi Rih, a resident of the Crimea. There he received Russian citizenship while retaining a Ukrainian passport. In 2014 he was recruited by the SBU and trained by the CIA and Ukrainian security services near Kiev where he learned how to produce explosive devices.[365] He was able to enter Belarus through Russia with his Russian passport.[366][367] Several other terror accomplices were arrested, and the hunt for more was ongoing.

March 2023

On March 21, 2023 it was announced the UK was supplying nuclear weapons to Ukraine.[368]

As the encirclement closed in an AFU forces in early March 2023, the Russian forces allowed untrained, conscripted 16-year-olds and elderly men pressed into service by the Zelensky regime to escape without being killed or captured via the last remaining escape route out of Bakhmut.[369] 10,000 Ukrainian troops were said to be trapped in the cauldron.[370] On March 7, 2023 Prigozhin estimated the number at between 12,000 and 20,000.

By March 1, 2023 Transnistria began a partial mobilization, offering training and salaries to anyone who wanted to participate.

On March 1, 2023 the Russian MOD reported that the Ukrainians lost 80 soldiers. In Bakhmut, the MOD reported 190 Ukrainian troops killed, and loss of 18 armored and 16 light vehicles.

On March 10, 2023 reports indicate two Kinzhal missiles hit NATO’s Western Command Center near Lvov 80 meters underground, killing 40 high ranking foreign specialists. The bunker was a NATO strategic command point used to control anti-aircraft systems.[371] Immediately following that, on March 12 the US sent an extremely provocative message by simulating a nuclear bombing run on St. Petersburg when they sent a B-52 bomber directly towards the city in an unprecedented maneuver.[372] On March 23, 2023, S-400 were reported to have been deployed in Kaliningrad.[373]

By mid-March 2023 the city was in operational encirclement; on March 23, 2023 reports indicated NATO/Ukraine had accumulated a force of 80,000 in attempt to unblock the encirclement.

  159. Cold War intelligence analysts considered the fact that Red Army units always removed their dead from the battlefield even in retreat, and buried them with dignity, as indicative of the Russian Orthodox belief in the resurrection, and the failure of Marxist political ideology to penetrate the Russian military as an institution. IOWs, the Soviet political leaders never depended on the Red Army to defend Marxism because the military, as an institution, would not give up its deeply held religious and spiritual beliefs. "There are no atheists in foxholes," as the saying goes.
Former GRU Capt. Viktor Suvorov said many people joined the Soviet military as the only means to express political opposition to the Soviet Communist Party. Red Army units always had political commissars attached, empowered to execute anyone, including commanding officers, not carrying out Communist party instructions. They were abolished by the Russian Federation, however the NATO-trained AFU has political commissars from the SBU on the battlefield who shoot retreating or surrendering troops, as Soviet Red Army commissars did during World War II.
