Starter Pokémon

Within the Pokémon franchise, Starter Pokémon are any one of usually a set of three monsters that the player has to choose from before beginning the game. These Pokémon have relatively similar stats and are low to middle tier in potential via Level up or Evolving. However, there are exceptions to this, and entire fan communities exist for the sole purpose of arguing which Starter Pokémon is the best.
