A steak is a slab or hunk of meat or fish, most commonly beef. There are many different types, the most popular being the T-bone Steak and Filet Mignon. There are also Rib eye and Veal steaks. Common non-beef steaks include gammon, venison and tuna.
A majority of the beef in the United States is imported from Australia and New Zealand.[1]
