Stephen Baldwin (born May 12, 1966) is an American actor and is the youngest brother of actors Alec, Daniel and William Baldwin. He is best known for starring in films such as Born on the Fourth of July (1989), The Usual Suspects (1995), The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas (2000). He is also known for being the only conservative Baldwin unlike his older brothers Alec and William, who are both liberal.

Early life

Stephen Baldwin was born in Massapequa, New York on May 12, 1966 to Carol Newcomb (née Martineau) and Alexander Rae Baldwin, Jr. and is the youngest of three brothers Alec, William and Daniel.

Career

Stephen began his career in 1987 with a supporting role on the TV series American Playhouse. His motion picture debut came the following year with Homeboy. He also starred on the hit TV series Family Ties and China Beach. One of his most famous roles in film is the role of criminal Michael McManus in the 1995 film The Usual Suspects. He also starred in the 2006 made-for-television film Jesse Stone: Night Passage as Joe Genest alongside Tom Selleck as the title role.

Religious views

During his early life, Stephen was at one time Catholic. But, in the wake of the September 11th attacks, he became a born-again Christian and has been extremely vocal on television and YouTube about his faith. [1][2]

Political views

Stephen is one of many Hollywood stars who came in support of Donald Trump in the 2016 election and also supported George W. Bush, Sam Brownback and Mike Huckabee. In a 2018 interview with CBN News, he stated that he had not spoken to Alec since the election.[3]
