Stephen J. Dubner (born 1963 - ) is a Jewish American author and journalist. Dubner has written four books and numerous articles. He lives in New York City.
Stephen Dubner is best known as co-author (with economist Steven Levitt) of the pop-economics book Freakonomics. Their book Freakonomics has sold 3 million copies worldwide.
