Stuart Alan Moss (born July 29, 1963), is the incoming District 33 state representative for Calcasieu Parish in the southwestern portion of Louisiana. On November 6, 2018, he won a special election to succeed Democrat Mike Danahay, who resigned from the state House to become the mayor of Sulphur, Louisiana.

A Republican and former city council member in Sulphur, Moss defeated two Democrats, businessman Leslie Allen "Les" Farnum (born July 31, 1957), a member of the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, and Teri A. Johnson, the president of the Calcasieu Federation of Teachers.[1] Moss polled 6,795 votes (54 percent); Farnum, 4,883 (39 percent), and Johnson, 912 (7 percent).[2]
