Suffolk Resolves

The Suffolk Resolves were approved by the leaders of Suffolk County Massachusetts on September 9, 1774, in response to the Massachusetts Government Act. Edmund Burke recognized them as a major turning point in the decaying relationship between Britain and the colonies.[1]
