There are two main symbolic meanings of the swastika:
- Symbol of life in eastern religion.
- Symbol commonly associated with Nazism.
As an ancient religious symbol, the swastika has powerful symbolic meanings in the Buddhist, Jain, and Hindu religions.
The Nazi swastika is "right facing", while most religious instances of the swastika are "left facing". However, either direction can be used for both meanings.[1] [2]
