Box colors

I tried "preview" changing the text of "Confederate States of America" to black, I thought it looked better but didn't want to change anything without first consulting this page (and you Karajou). Crackertalk 01:08, 7 April 2007 (EDT)

It would have to be similar on all pages...but I want the gray color kept. The information with these blocks I'd like to change a bit as well, due to the fact that members of both cabinets changed as well every year. Karajou 08:11, 7 April 2007 (EDT)
Okay, I'll switch them all over and you see what you think, I'm only changing the CSA's lettering, (to me the white over gray just doesn't work well), but it's your call in the end and that's fine if you want me ( or yourself) to switch em back. Crackertalk 16:46, 8 April 2007 (EDT)
The white looks a little better as far as readability. What say you? Karajou 22:23, 8 April 2007 (EDT)

Okay I'll switch em back then. Crackertalk 22:33, 8 April 2007 (EDT)

They're back to white on gray. Crackertalk
I think I'm suffering from "in-over-my-head-itis!" regarding this subject; there is just a lot to put in, and a lot that I am missing as a result (like Ball's Bluff in 1861). I got the structure down pat, but it could use a lot of filling in. Karajou 22:39, 8 April 2007 (EDT)
Yeah, there was a lot happening, so many accounts written by so many people even before the historians got a hold of it all. It'll never be "finished". Lock it until after it comes off of the front page. Then open it up to th editors, which is hard, I know, to let your "baby" into the hands of strangers but it'll grow and become more than you could ever do on your own. Crackertalk 22:55, 8 April 2007 (EDT)
What I think I'm going to do is finish two articles first: Robert E. Lee and Battle of Hampton Roads, before I resume work in the main Civil War articles. Karajou 22:51, 8 April 2007 (EDT)
I'll probably leave them's possible someone may come in and do a fantastic edit worth keeping! Karajou 23:01, 8 April 2007 (EDT)

Longest article

This one I'm afraid just might be the longest article in this subject. Oh the joy! Karajou 01:12, 14 April 2007 (EDT)

Finally got to add more...the Seven Days. Karajou 23:56, 29 April 2007 (EDT)
