I'm just wondering, something seems a bit off here. Isn't Penn Jillette a celebrity? Why would he spend time debating some random guy on youtube? This just seems very strange, I think that anyone who ducks out of a meaningful debate is a coward, but does a celebrity really have the time or the interest to acknowledge every random person on youtube who challenges him to a debate? I mean, if I challenged Richard Dawkins to a debate, could I say that he's a coward for not acknowledging me? [[User:KatieKomori|KatieKomori]] 09:54, 1 May 2013 (EDT)

This doesn't seem to be right

So a few prominent atheists refused to debate...does that mean you can label every single person who is atheist a coward? JohnPaulJonesRevWar 12:15, 22 October 2011 (EDT)

A few prominent atheists? See Atheism and cowardice. Conservative 12:21, 22 October 2011 (EDT)
...That's the article I'm commenting on. It can safely be assumed that I have read the article I'm commenting on. JohnPaulJonesRevWar 10:12, 23 October 2011 (EDT)
Pat Tillman was an atheist. Is he a coward? --Hetgar 20:56, 2 November 2011 (EDT)
When an atheist says they're willing to debate their ideas with prominent theists, such as Richard Dawkins, and then he refuses to for all sorts of excuses, that's cowardace. --Wayfinder 18:09, 7 November 2011 (EST)
Well yeah, but the point is I know religious people who are cowards. That doesn't mean I immediately assume that it's obviously a result of the religious beliefs and that all other religious people must be cowards... Just because Dawkins didn't want to debate, doesn't mean it warrants an article about the correlation between Atheism and cowardice. If you want to make an article out of it, call it Dawkins and Cowardice or make a Dawkins page and mention it there. --Glenwing 1:21, 7 May 2012 (MST)
Exactly. This Dawkins stuff is unproven, anyway. TomUp 10:58, 2 March 2013 (EST)

Why would Penn Jillette acknowledge ShockOfGod?

I'm just wondering, something seems a bit off here. Isn't Penn Jillette a celebrity? Why would he spend time debating some random guy on youtube? This just seems very strange, I think that anyone who ducks out of a meaningful debate is a coward, but does a celebrity really have the time or the interest to acknowledge every random person on youtube who challenges him to a debate? I mean, if I challenged Richard Dawkins to a debate, could I say that he's a coward for not acknowledging me? KatieKomori 09:54, 1 May 2013 (EDT)
