You are mistaken. The buffalo is old-world.  What is called a buffalo in north America is actually the North American Bison.  I think we need to get more pictures on these pages to illustrate the difference. [[User:MontyZuma|MontyZuma]] 19:04, 1 May 2007 (EDT)

Cheese is a solidified dairy product where the curds are separated from the whey.

Caps in names... If american cheese is capped, then so should, say cheddar and monterrey (jack), since they also derive from place names. A minor point, since this article needs a lot more good information and perhaps one less poem. Human 21:36, 15 April 2007 (EDT)

You are mistaken. The buffalo is old-world. What is called a buffalo in north America is actually the North American Bison. I think we need to get more pictures on these pages to illustrate the difference. MontyZuma 19:04, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
