I'm a nerd of sorts (but not an athiest by any means) and I'm sort of offended by the implied connection between atheism and nerdism. Gregkochuconn 09:27, 13 June 2012 (EDT)

If you feel you are socially/physically awkward and/or obsessively engage in technical/fantasy pursuits, consider joining Toastmasters or taking a Dale Carnegie class plus working out with others if you don't do that already. Working out will not only reduce any physical awkwardness you may have as a nerd, but it actually can increase mental strength: Young Adults Who Exercise Get Higher IQ Scores and Does Aerobic exercise increase IQ - and More exercise = More IQ? Your improved mental prowess due to exercise could be the envy of many nerds! :) Conservative 10:54, 13 June 2012 (EDT)
