If I am not mistaken, I think some of these sources like Berkeley, etc are theological liberals and do a poor job. They tend to take a low view of Scripture. Conservative 20:26, 15 January 2015 (EST)

I think this is a great article Dataclarifier. Definitely a useful resource. --DonnyC 22:35, 15 January 2015 (EST)
Thanks, DonnyC. Most appreciated. Glad to help.
Conservative, I heartily agree with you re Berkeley! The end list of helps articles listed as offered by Conservapedia will clarify that for the reader, if they do their reading. However, a parenthetical inline comment, not a footnote, such as "(considered a source of poor Biblical scholarship by most researchers)", would be most welcome! Balance is one thing, but truthfulness and accuracy is always revealing. Feel free to make insertions as needed. Appreciate your cogent observation (and thank you for the Redirect.).
(As soon as I finish proofreading the rest of the Apocrypha/Deuterocanonical articles, I will start again on the 4 remaining articles you requested I improve/create.)

I placed a caveat above the list of critical studies sources. --Dataclarifier 10:50, 16 January 2015 (EST)

Septuaginta?

Something is wrong here... --AugustO 15:40, 16 January 2015 (EST)

Obviously John is not part of the Septuagint (or the "Septuaginta"). A comma and a period have been added, so this is a modern critical text. PeterKa 15:57, 16 January 2015 (EST)
Judging from the punctuation marks and the notation of γινώσκωσιν, my money is on Tischendorf... --AugustO 16:03, 16 January 2015 (EST)
Thanks for the alert! I replaced SEPTUAGINTA with ΚΑΙΝΉ ΔΙAΘΉΚH. The Greek text I used was copied and pasted from the first displayed Greek text (Nestle) of ΙΩΑΝΝΗΝ 17:3 top middle column on the http://biblehub.com/multi/john/17-3.htm site and compared to the Ellopos/Elpenor English and Greek site which I added with other links to an External links section http://www.ellopos.net/elpenor/greek-texts/new-testament/john/17.asp.
  • ΙΩΑΝΝΗΝ 17:3 Greek original is the text prepared by the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople (1904/12), with corrections of typos made by the Church of Greece (note the lack of ν in the Ecumenical Patriarchate text: γινώσκωσιν / γινώσκωσί )
