The top six male serial killers in America are/were not all gay, as claimed in this article. See: Gary Ridgway, Ted Bundy, and H.H. Holmes as counterexamples.

The top six U.S. male serial killers were all gay:

• Donald Harvey claimed 37 victims in Kentucky;

• John Wayne Gacy raped and killed 33 boys in Chicago, burying them under his house and in his yard;

• Patrick Kearney accounted for 32, cutting his victims into small pieces after sex and leaving them in trash bags along the Los Angeles freeways;

• Bruce Davis molested and killed 27 young men and boys in Illinois;

• A gay sex-murder-torture ring (Corll-Henley-Brooks) sent 27 Texas men and boys to their grave; and

• Juan Corona was convicted of murdering 25 migrant workers (he "made love" with their corpses).

So you're saying your three killed more people, or what? --Ed Poor Talk 15:31, 10 November 2008 (EST)

They're hardly 'my three', but yes: Ridgway claimed 71 but pled guilty to killing 48; Bundy confessed to 30 although estimates range up to 100 with 35 being the majority view; Holmes confessed to 27 with potentially up to 200; Charles Cullen claimed to have killed 45 - convicted of 19, I believe; Coral Eugene Watts plead guilty to 12 but the total is probably closer to 100. --Brossa 15:53, 10 November 2008 (EST)

Then put them in the article. What's with all the debate? --Ed Poor Talk 16:07, 10 November 2008 (EST)

So you know, he just got blocked. Corry 16:55, 10 November 2008 (EST)
Not a problem--I'll put in the information as per Ed's request.

murderous gay nazi?

I'm taking out the bit about "Ludwig Tiene", the alleged gay killer nazi. I got suspicious at the claim that he raped and murdered 100 boys/day, which I daresay is a physical impossibility. Googling, the only mention of the fella is in the referenced cite (and references to same). Unless there are other independent sources, I'm skeptical that the guy really existed. --RossC 22:40, 11 November 2008 (EST)

I thought it seemed a little outlandish, but that's what the reference claims. Maybe we should be suspect of anything else that comes from the same source as well. HelpJazz 22:55, 11 November 2008 (EST)

I dont know if this helps Markr 00:13, 13 November 2008 (EST)

Can we lose the hundred-boys-a-day bit now? It's not exactly family-friendly, and since it's a disputed claim to say the least, if not fully discredited, there doesn't seem to be much purpose in keeping it. Sideways 10:37, 16 November 2008 (EST)
I support this measure on the grounds that it is not family friendly. -Foxtrot 02:51, 17 November 2008 (EST)

What should we do with this article?

This article was originally started in order to say that the top serial killers were homosexuals, but it has been shown to not be true. Now the first paragraph makes a bunch of unsourced declarations about why homosexuals kill, the second paragraph is about how one guy is wrong in saying that the top 6 killers were homosexual, and the third paragraph is about how a gay Nazi who raped 100 boys per day probably wasn't a Nazi and probably didn't rape 100 boys per day. The message is lost and can't verified, at least not using any of the data given. HelpJazz 21:29, 14 November 2008 (EST)
