Talk:Gertrude Stein

From Conservapedia

While the (now removed) linked page is somewhat... graphic in its descriptions, the author has a point. Aside from the random italics and blockquotes, the fact that a Conservapedia sysop used a Holocaust Denial site as reference for a biography is extremely troubling. An explanation would be appreciated. --KevinM 16:12, 1 July 2008 (EDT)

It was most likely a mistake, the result of a random google search. But you are certainly right, it should have been removed immediately. HenryS 19:27, 1 July 2008 (EDT)

Following Andy's suggestion, I edited the article. At the moment, I mostly ordered the paragraphs in a way that makes more sense (starting with what she is most importantly known for, then moving to biography info, then the specific work section, then the misc. lists and stuff) and cut away some quotes. One of them was from a Holocaust Denial site, another was random praise, and the third was an excerpt from one of her works.

If nothing else happens, I'll likely improve the article some more these days. --KevinM 19:47, 1 July 2008 (EDT)
