In "The Apostle John is accepted without question as the author of the Fourth Gospel.", who does the accepting? It isn't "everybody" as even the most cursory search will show; see for instance [1] and [2]. Even if the Apostle John is the author, there are people who don't accept that and/or question it. --Jtl 05:11, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
- I agree, and have added a cited source to that effect. Accepted without question is just wrong. Dpbsmith 05:57, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
- I was going for "concise" so I left out some...scholarly stuff that was/is better off left in; but given the aire of the place lately I also did not want to be seen as "questioning" the authenticity of the Bible.
Last Edit
Hello Kuli,
Could you please explain your last edit? I'm not familiar with the change that takes place based on the extra syntax. Thanks. Learn together 03:18, 22 March 2008 (EDT)
