I agree wholeheartedly with this article. However, I consider affinities divided by national background just as much of a sin as affinities divided by religious backgrounds. That the Christian Right-Wing has such overwhelming control of the Establishment and media is utterly wrong for this nation, which is a Secular nation. 50something

Perhaps not, but as the most-viewed news channel, it certainly pushes tremendous bias into every home. Anyway, this is a distraction - my point remains that just as voting as an Irish-American would be wrong, so too is voting as a Christian-American. We are all Americans. 50something
