This article is what's called a coatrack article. I'd encourage everyone to participate. If a news item doesn't make the Main Page, hang it here. It's easier to make a daily record than to go back and reconstruct. And there's plenty of daily news items that outrage people to choose from. Thanks All! RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 23:25, 15 June 2017 (EDT)

Nobsie don't you realise we can't link to such a liberal site here?! The Gentlemen at another liberal site wouldn't mind so much perhaps but not here. Vive Liberté! 23:29, 15 June 2017 (EDT)
We've been cutting n pasting out wholesale citations and text from TOW, then wash, rinse, and rehabilitate for decent people and discussion. They've made our lives much easier; all we have to do eliminate the liberal claptrap and insert the appropriate spin. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 23:55, 15 June 2017 (EDT)
No.. do you mean to tell me that you admit to putting spin on articles? *gasp* nobs I thought we were friends how could you? Vive Liberté! 23:59, 15 June 2017 (EDT)
Hey, if it's spin coming from me, it's not spin. It's fact. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 00:17, 16 June 2017 (EDT)
Lol aight nobs. Just remember that your facts aren't always right. Remember our Schadenfreude talk? Vive Liberté! 20:13, 16 June 2017 (EDT)
We're the home of alternative facts to liberal bias. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 20:28, 16 June 2017 (EDT)
Liberal bias doesn't change the meaning of words though.. But let's not start on that again. No need to beat a dead horse. Just messing with you, nobsie. :) Vive Liberté! 20:49, 16 June 2017 (EDT)

An interesting graph published by the Daily Caller [1]--Jpatt 12:16, 16 June 2017 (EDT)

Unfortunately, this article talks about 2016 statistics, but it is still interesting. Left-wing violence is growing dramatically in Europe.[2] --1990'sguy (talk) 14:05, 16 June 2017 (EDT)
Yes, I deliberately made so we can collect incidents worldwide. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 14:09, 16 June 2017 (EDT)
Also, this article does not mention who was responsible, but a right-wing French politician was attacked and left unconcious. --1990'sguy (talk) 14:08, 16 June 2017 (EDT)
Got that in already. Really, that's the story that motivated this article. We need to just routinely collect those items here. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 14:16, 16 June 2017 (EDT)

Here is an interesting story of violence in Germany, caused (at least to an extent) by migrants: [3] The article does not identify the rioters as left-wingers, though, so I will leave this article here to discuss whether it is appropriate to add. --1990'sguy (talk) 00:09, 19 July 2017 (EDT)

I saw this one too elsewhere. This is more of the migrant crisis, but we're getting so many of these lately they can't possibly fit into the migrant crisis article either. Other websites do collect lists of these daily incidents. The only other suggestion may be to start collecting these incidents - if they are unique and interesting enough - in articles like Baden-Wuerttemberg to keep a record, if you choose. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 11:50, 19 July 2017 (EDT)

Another interesting article: [4] Not sure, though, if we should add this. --1990'sguy (talk) 00:06, 15 August 2017 (EDT)

Just read the article. Seems ironic that Antifa called its "protest" in Seattle "Solidarity Against Hate" when all they did was riot, burn the US flag and display their hatred against their own country (thus engaging in exactly what they claim to be against). They're not what anyone would call the brightest bulbs in the chandelier by any means. Northwest (talk) 00:51, 15 August 2017 (EDT)

Vandalism of Senate offices

Hopefully soon, unless someone else adds these (which would be nice), I will add the incidents where the Senate offices of some Senators (I think Heller and Capito) were vandalized because they voted for repealing ObamaCare. These examples should not be left out.

Also, earlier in the year, when conservative congressmen were visiting their constituents, they were met by rowdy crowds who became physical at some points. I remember reading an article discussing these incidents. Hopefully, I or someone else can add this as well. --1990'sguy (talk) 22:15, 12 August 2017 (EDT)

A thought on Charlottesville

Simply speculation on my part at this point, but does it seem coincidental that what recently happened in Charlottesville occurred right after the revelation of the Democrats' IT scandal [5] despite the unsuccessful attempts of the liberal media (acting on their Democrat bosses' behalf) to suppress that story? On that basis, it would appear that the Charlottesville riot was timed precisely to happen following that story breaking, to distract from the Democrats being neck-deep in that scandal - and as such, this smacks of Charlottesville being a Democrat-staged false flag, designed with the intent of being the latest thing with which to falsely scapegoat Donald Trump and conservatives as a whole.

Of course, there are likely other things the Democrats are up to that are coming to light which they don't want attention on, as well as what President Trump is accomplishing successfully in the White House (like making North Korea back down [6]) that the Democrats and their liberal media cheerleaders also don't want attention on, that prompted the staging of the riot last Saturday. Thoughts? Northwest (talk) 02:48, 15 August 2017 (EDT)

The MSM did not have to give these protestors attention. They could have chosen to ignore the protests, and they would have been uneventful. The violence that we saw might not have happened if the media was not there -- people often overreact to get attention. But why would the MSM ever choose to do that? Giving these small protests coverage helps the leftist media narrative that neo-Nazis are taking over the U.S., helped by their biggest friend who now is in the White House. So, yes, I think this is more than a coincidence, even though I, personally, probably wouldn't go so far as to say that the media is doing this to cover up any specific stories. --1990'sguy (talk) 10:09, 15 August 2017 (EDT)
Greg Gutfeld did a good monologue yesterday about this: [7] --1990'sguy (talk) 10:12, 15 August 2017 (EDT)

Establishment GOP becomes friendly towards left-wing extremists

Many establishment Republicans have criticized Trump for his reaction to the Charlottesville violence (even though he clearly criticized hatred and violence and urged all people to come together and view themselves as Americans first), even going so far as to sympathize and speak highly of the Antifa.[8] This should be added somewhere. Also, when Kasich says that there is "no moral equivalency between the KKK, the neo-Nazis and anybody else", he forgets Romans 3:23. --1990'sguy (talk) 00:09, 17 August 2017 (EDT)

Here is a good article in response to peoples' statements equivalating the Antifa with soldiers in World War II who fought the Nazis: [9] --1990'sguy (talk) 00:10, 17 August 2017 (EDT)
It really shows how much sway the media has over the GOP. The GOP whines and pleads to do the talking points that will take them out of the spotlight. Media cries racist and they run away from Trump like children. The president is a part of the same party but the GOP is clearly under the thumb of Democrat news media. Just like the Tea Party before them, the Alt-right is under attack because the left found a few bad apples...all the rightwing is to blame. It's propaganda and the Democrat party is collapsing before our eyes and wants to take the rest of the country with them. --Jpatt 10:02, 17 August 2017 (EDT)
Paul Ryan and even President Trump also spoke highly of the Antifa protests in Boston, where violence occurred: [10] --1990'sguy (talk) 14:36, 23 August 2017 (EDT)
Antifa's already getting blowback against them, though. Trump called them out by name at the Phoenix rally and basically implied them as sissies for refusing to show up at the rally because of the hot weather [11] (though I think the presence of Bikers for Trump had a lot to do with it as well). Later on when some Antifa types did start acting up after the rally, one of them paid for kicking a tear gas can back at the Phoenix police by getting hit in the groin with a pepper ball fired at him in a video that's going viral as I write this. Good article to possibly add

This is a good article explaining that left-wing violence existed long before 2017 and is not just a product of the Trump Era: [13] I'm posting this here because maybe someone will be able to incorporate it into this article or another one. --1990'sguy (talk) 23:40, 31 August 2017 (EDT)

Retitle

Should we retitle to something like 2017-18 leftwing violence or Leftist violence during the Trump administration, etc.? RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 23:20, 14 July 2018 (EDT)

Good idea -- maybe Left-wing anti-Trump violence? I believe User:MaddieJ (who is now blocked) created a draft page of 2018 instances of violence as a user sub-page, though it was deleted along with the rest of her pages. We should ask an admin to fish it up so we can add the content. John Nolte's Breitbart article that I cited also has many instances of violence from 2015 to 2018. --1990'sguy (talk) 13:48, 15 July 2018 (EDT)
Do we need a vote? I'm comfortable with whatever (it can always be tweek). On the other hand, including Trump's name may limit some incidents, unless it's something like Trump era leftwing violence. We need to get moving on this. Things are happening daily. And no other website is catelogueing it that I know of. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 00:37, 16 July 2018 (EDT)
Looks good to me, though once again, Breitbart is cataloging these examples, at least to an extent. --1990'sguy (talk) 13:57, 16 July 2018 (EDT)
The top link on external links is too, but we don't know how thorough they are. We're doing important work here cause when you Google "Left wing violence", all you get are "rightwing" results. There's nobody like ADL or SPLC solely dedicated to doing it. We're doing important scientific research here, compiling a database. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 17:09, 16 July 2018 (EDT)

Bourdain

Bourdain might actually belong on the Clinton body count list. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 12:46, 16 July 2018 (EDT)

Wheeler

These two statements:

  • Three Antifa activists were arrested on multiple criminal charges (unrelated to Ngo), and
  • Wheeler did nothing to stop the violence,

are contradictory and nullify the case Sen. Cruz presents. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 15:50, 1 July 2019 (EDT)

The activists were arrested after the violence already happened. There are ways to prevent the violence from happening in the first place, such as keeping conflicting groups away from each other. --1990'sguy (talk) 16:03, 1 July 2019 (EDT)
(a) There's no connection between the assault on Ngo and the arrests; (b) publicizing the arrests detracts from Cruz's call for federal involvement and accusations the mayor "did nothing."
This page should be less focused on arrests and more focused on violence. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 17:46, 1 July 2019 (EDT)
The arrests show how violent the protests were, and the mayor did nothing by not sending police in the first place -- they only came after the fact and weren't there to stop the violence from happening (oftentimes in major protests, the police separate protestors from counter-protestors and make sure they are safe). --1990'sguy (talk) 21:36, 1 July 2019 (EDT)
Listing arrest defeats the purpose of this page: it creates the false impression that violent acts are in hand or under control. As the City of Portland policy indicates, they are not.
This page should not read like a police blotter; it should highlight the uncontrolled, rampant, and widespread violence sanctioned by Democrat leaders, celebrities, and journalists. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 13:54, 2 July 2019 (EDT)
Conservatives and Trump supporters are in the position today that blacks were in the 1950s and 1960s civil rights movement. Our rights are systematically being violate by an institutional failure of the courts, legislatures, police, media, and ingrained cultural prejudice. We need to learn to play the victim and highlight injustice. Talking about some perpetrator being arrested implies the criminal justice system is working.
Recently, I had a long discussion in RW over the Masterpiece Bakery cakeshop and gay rights. The baker's First Amendment rights had to go to the Supreme Court. Liberals conclusions are that the First Amendment conflicts with anti-discrimination laws, hate crimes, and protects bigotry (i.e., free exercise of religion is bigotry). These issues are far from over, and the notion that police or a state's Civil Rights Commission are acting properly is not what this page should convey.
Leftists feel justified in using violence if the Supreme Court and First Amendment protects bigots. They want to tear everything down.
The reader should not depart this page with the impression that horrific and violent acts are under control by the justice system, police, and arrests. It is a violent battle for control of the police, courts, and legislatures which at this point, is not under control, and conseratives and Trump supporters are loosing.RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 14:12, 2 July 2019 (EDT)
I agree with that -- the violence is out of control. Maybe we can change the wording to say that only three were arrested (there were clearly more than three who attacked Ngo)? --1990'sguy (talk) 14:13, 2 July 2019 (EDT)
Arrests are immaterial to the violence. Discussing them creates the impression of a wash, big deal "justice was served", etc. So Eric Trump's perpetrator was arrested. Big deal. Does that mean justice was served, and respect for the family of the President restored? Focus on the issue: violence, and efforts to tear down the Constitutional rights we all hold now. Forget about arrests. Our justice system is not working if a baker is required by the long arm of the government to bake a cake for a gay couple. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 14:20, 2 July 2019 (EDT)
That's fair. In that case, I support you making whatever edits to this article to advance this focus. --1990'sguy (talk) 14:27, 2 July 2019 (EDT)

ICE protests

The two incidents at ICE facilities are related; what is needed is a good source on who organized protests in "150 cities" (or whatever the number is) as reported by MSM. MThese are not spontaneous protests. Once we locate a valid, reliable source of who the organizers are, then all three incidents can be linked together.

Remember, the sourcing here is to be used in writing narrative prose text later. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 16:28, 14 July 2019 (EDT)
