I think that "liberal guilt" is somewhat of an oxymoron. I don't think that liberals actually feel bad for having more than other people; rather, they're spiteful at people who have created wealth when they have failed at it. -- Jeff W. Lauttamus_Discussion 13:13, 7 February 2010 (EST)

I'm not sure what you're getting at here, JLauttamus. Liberal guilt is a well-known phenomenon -- the phrase gets over 50,000 hits on Google, all with roughly the same meaning. Surely, though, the concept needs to be better elaborated here and I welcome your input. --JimR 00:50, 8 February 2010 (EST)
