Recreate or salt?

This page has been deleted twice already, yet there are seven incoming links. Should this entry be recreated, or should we work on removing the links that point here? If the former, what would the suggested form be? I don't know what the old versions looked like, so I'm unsure how to avoid a third deletion. --JBrown 18:57, 10 May 2008 (EDT)

Vet?

Can I get some feedback on this article please? It seems like it could be added to Template:Liberalism if "good" Lyra Belaqua talk 13:25, 17 May 2008 (EDT)

Rejecting skepticism of government officials

Sorry, but Bill O'Reilly has been telling me for eight years not to question the government, he said Rush said it's bad. Then he said <expletive> it we'll do it live! ---user:DLerner--- 13:37, 17 May 2008 (EDT)

Clarified to mean liberal government officials such as Barack Obama (soon?) Lyra Belaqua talk 13:38, 17 May 2008 (EDT)
Rubbish, people tend to stick to the polis they like, conservatives are the most guilty of this practice, perhaps under conservative values we should write "refusing to recognise that GWB is a criminal. ---user:DLerner--- 13:45, 17 May 2008 (EDT)
There are many liberals who do not recognize this either, and there's a reason: it's complete falsehood. Lyra Belaqua talk 13:55, 17 May 2008 (EDT)

Liberal Students

Is this one really fair to attribute only to liberals? At my college, which is predominantly conservative, the College Republicans were extremely rude to Cindy Sheehan when she came to speak, and in a way that was grossly underhanded and spiteful.Decemberist 18:31, 16 December 2008 (EST)

How can you be so sure these were Republicans, and not Liberals out to make Conservatives look bad by underhand means? Bugler 18:40, 16 December 2008 (EST)

How can you be so sure that the "liberals" criticizing conservative speakers were liberals, and not conservatives out to make liberals look bad by underhanded means?

Behaviour more than Values

We really should be honest here and recognize that the list as it stands is more decriptive of the liberal behavior more than their values. Don't you think? Liberals value many of the things we value but there are other values that they give importance to that we do not. The sanctity of the individual vs. community for example.

I think this article would be better if it was more objective and unbiased. I like the list. I think all of these things are true. But I seriously doubt that progressive liberals proudly proclaim these things as values.
