I wonder if "Old Order Mennonites" have wood burning computers? Crackertalk 20:13, 17 March 2007 (EDT)

Some have normal computers. Daphnea 20:21, 23 June 2008 (EDT)

Can Mennonites be considered conservative? On the face of it as Christians they should, but they seem to espouse some liberal values such as pacifism and rejection of wealth. Levitican 20:38, 4 January 2010 (EST)

their pacifism and rejection of wealth comes from their reading of the New Testament. RJJensen 22:10, 4 January 2010 (EST)

I've edited this page to remove some inaccurate information. Another editor posted that the Old Order Mennonites avoid technology because they believe that it is evil and from the devil. This is a common stereotype, but not true. Old Order Mennonite beliefs on technology and what is acceptable are complex. CobaltFusion 12:28, 29 April 2011 (EDT)
