East Midlands Airport

The airport is called East Midlands Airport, not Nottingham East Midlands Airport. Please see the official website

Liverpool thrived on the the American and Caribbean trade before the Industrial Revolution and then (with Bristol) was directly involved in the Triangular slave trade. By 1750 it was one of the top cities by population and was (and is) larger than Nottingham. Bristol, before ships became too big for it, was a major trading port, and in the late 17th - early 18th centuries, was second only to London in size.It too is a larger than Nottingham.
