I seem to recall that a few school shootings were stopped when a quick-thinking teacher dashed to his parked car (note I do not say "her") and grabbed a pistol. In some cases, merely showing the loaded gun was enough to make a citizen's arrest. Why don't these cases get more publicity? Perhaps the media has an anti-gun bias. --Ed Poor Talk 21:07, 6 February 2010 (EST)

Me too, Ed. I'll poke around for such news items, see what turns up. --ṬK/Admin/Talk 21:23, 6 February 2010 (EST)
Of course the progressive liberal media has an anti-gun bias. So is the progressive liberal educational system that puts in these policies of dictatorship. Fox News is probably more likely than any of the others to have information on it. :) DMorris 22:00, 6 February 2010 (EST)
I found a website with multiple examples of where less gun control resulted in less violence, including several referenced examples of where armed teachers brought down would be mass murders.. I also found this site which mentions the concept of armed teachers (as well as a nice mention of how kicking God out of the classroom was a bad, bad idea), but does not mention any specific case where an armed teacher aborted a school shooting.
